Never again will I stay at this establishment. It was filthy and their website is very deceiving. I can handle rustic but when there is enough dirt and dust underneath a bed to create a creature that is just ridiculous. I honestly don't think they dust, mop or sweep the floors at all. If cobwebs are your thing then you’ll... More

I found Indian Head Point on line searchign for fishing getaways for my husbands birthday. We have 2 small children and we love the water. Looking at the pictures online, you think that this place is perfect. They have boat rentals and cottages right on the water. They boast about relaxing and have pictures of this sandy beach. First off,... More

The website is very deceiving about this resort destination. My husband has been going to Black Lake for over 20 years and this was the first time that we have stayed at this camp. The website says that the cabins are "clean and comfortable." I spent my first day cleaning out the cabins the best that I could so that... More

Rented 2 cabins for our family. DIL had never been on this type of vacation. ( lake cottage). I don't mind rustic but I do mind dirt. We must have been the first renters of the year. The porch furniture was filthy as was the floors. There were bits of papers on the plywood floor of the one bedroom and... More

this is a nice camp. Could it use some work, yes. However, Gary and his family are very welcoming and friendly. I and the other 6 families we go here with have no major complaints. Nice to get away for a week and not feel pressured.

went there for the first time in 15 years and it hasn't changed a bit. Still family owned and operated and you. Just have to bring food and sweep daily and you'll be fine. The owners are very friendly some things are kinda expensive but its the best place on the whole side of the lake.

Although we had a wonderful time at Indian Head Point many years ago, this trip was awful. The cabins were dirty and in need of repair. We rented 2 cabins and one had no hot water. In stead of letting us use another vacant cabin the owners insisted we stay in the one without running water. The floors were filthy,... More

My family, including my parents, sister and her husband and son, stayed at Indian Head Point last summer. We rented 2 of the log cabins. I probably should tell you first that I prefer a much different type of vacation (like an island) but my husband is an "outdoorsman" and really wanted to go on a fishing trip and since... More

This is the second time we've spent our week-long vacation at Indian Head Point in beautiful Black Lake New York. The first year the owners were very pleasant, e-mailing back and forth, were quick to answer any questions or concerns, and when we arrived, we felt very comfortable and they could not do enough to make us feel welcome. A... More
