5 of 5 stars Reviewed yesterday NEW

Stayed 4 nights in Room 4 in mid-August, 2014 for antique show. Having the bathroom across the hall reduced the rate and was not a problem. The room has sufficient space and furnishings. The continental breakfast was good: selection of juice, coffee, cold cereal, fresh cut/sliced fruit mixture and very good bakery items. Parking in lot on property without extra... More

I have business concerns in Hamilton NY and so my travels take me there on numerous occasions. The opportunities for lodging are quite limited here as they have only a few places in which to choose if you want to stay in Hamilton. This is a college city and dominated by Colgate University which is lovely by the way. I... More

Only a few minutes... More

Located a couple miles from town adjacent to a lake, an elegant old country mansion. A party of 5 had a variety of entrees, and everyone was pleased with their selection. Excellent service, also. We dined in the sunroom which was bright and airy.

Loved this wonderful B&B. We called the Colgate Inn, and they were sold out. They sent us to their "Sister B&B", the Hamilton Inn. Only five rooms and an amazing restaurant downstairs. Rooms are darling. Hardwood floors, most with their own baths. The water did smell a bit like sulfur...but not terrible!!! I hesitate to even mention it, but trying... More

We stayed at the sister property, the Hamilton Inn, on a Saturday evening recently. It was the only room we could find in Hamilton. The property is managed by the same person who manages the Colgate Inn, Jim Eberhardt. The room needs updating, although the bed was comfy. We have dined many times at the Hamilton Inn, but this evening... More
