Fist off-NOT an inn. Crappy motel and all the " charm " that goes with it. Colored tubs, uncomfortable beds, stale smelling room, ancient tv, and decor. I asked for handicap access and got it but as far as possible from the ramp. Requested king or queen bed, got a double. NO AIR CONDITIONER, as one reviewer claimed. Afraid to... More

Looking forward to seeing these folks again! First time. Would definitely go back. Clean room. Beautiful view. Great staff. Loved Owner,Sharon-a fellow LI-er. Had a great breakfast. Had a drink at bar...everything was exactly what we expected for a hotel on Route 32 in Greenville.

My son and I traveled upstate for my sister-in-laws surprise 40th. We stayed and ate at Hollowbrook. We arrived Friday early evening, checked into our room, then walked down to the restaurant for dinner. We ate on the patio during sunset with a gorgeous view of the mountains. I ate the lobster bisque bread bowl which was phenomenal, my son... More

We have stayed at the Hollowbrook several times and we are never disappointed. The rooms are immaculate and the restaurant is so cozy. Most importantly the food is delicious. I highly recommend staying here!!

Family was in town for a funeral. Hollowbrook accommodated all of our needs and wants during our brief time in town. Cooking was excellent. Highly recommend the Beef Brisket. Rooms are comfy. We set up a concierge lounge in the "red room". Keep up the great work.

Our family went to Hollowbrook Restaurant for a birthday celebration. The ambiance was very nice, comfortable, bright, welcoming. The food was excellent; prepared to perfection. John was our waiter; he's so good, I wanted to take him home with me. He was right there when we needed something, and left us alone when we did not need his assistance, very... More

Our one night stay at the Hollowbrook Inn was perfect and more suitable than we expected it to be. The room and bathroom was immaculately clean and refreshed from the 60's when the inn was built. Shower had pressure and was hot; bedspreads and carpet spotless; no smells or odors in the room. After returning from an event that evening,... More

We have been traveling to the Catskill Mountains for more than twenty years. The Hollowbrook is a cut above the average. The room was clean and comfortable. The bathroom was clean and the shower hot and strong. We had dinner at the Inn and the food was very good to excellent. A few minor issues, there was a slight error... More

We stayed At the Hollowbrook to attend a family event in the area. We also stayed here once during the previous ownership. It's a nice, relaxing setting and the rooms are comfortable and clean. The Restaurant stayed open late for us so we could have a late evening snack. Everyone is very friendly. The rooms are small, but they were... More

We have stayed at the Hollowbrook 5 or 6 times. Located just south of Albany, the location is a great base for exploring the area--towns like Woodstock, Catskill , or to the garlic festival in Saugerties. The motel is spotlessly clean, and not at all elaborate. The whole idea is to relax and enjoy the rural beauty of upstate NY.... More
