I've stayed here several times over the years and I book it for the view and the fact you can have a small kitchen. This is not the ritz but if you are looking for a wonderful view and just some downtime... this place is great!

When we lived in Freeport, Long Island, we used to escape to Sound View Inn. It was only less than a two hour drive; however, it was like being transported to an entirely different world. There are many local attractions, especially the north spur vineyards.
