This is overall a very good luxury hotel. Its location cannot be beat, as it is right near everything. We've only stayed there once (so far), and our experience w/ the front staff was initially disappointing: they were a bit rude. We left word of this on our comment card and the next day received a call from the manager... more

We stayed at this hotel over the President's Day weekend, so we got a special rate. The location was perfect: a great view of the small harbor, across to Shelter Island, within walking distance of some very good restaurants and nice shops. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The staff was wonderful: friendly and very helpful with making recommendations.... more

Stayed 3 nights and paid for 2.5 in August, great deal. Greenport is a very quaint town, nicer than the South Fork of Long Island. The accomodations were outstanding. Breakfast is adequate, the location is fantastic. North Fork beaches could use some help from mother mature. Rocky and small but the local vineyards are amazing. Really great time and will... more

We checked in to this hotel on a Sunday in early November, which is apparently very much the downseason in the North Fork of Long Island. We booked the standard (lowest tier) room on the hotel website and we checked in to find it well decorated and comfortable. However, it was a handicap room which meant the bathroom was not... more

My husband and I just returned from a weekend getaway in Greenport, NY. We had the pleasure of staying at The Harborfront Inn for the very first time. We arrived earlier than the scheduled check-in time of four o'clock, and our room was not ready. The woman at the desk asked us if we would like to head into town... more

We spent 3 nights at the end of August at the Harborfront and really loved it. We had a premium king with a direct view over the Bay, ferry slip and docks and it was very serene and always interesting to watch. The room, as others have described, is extremely comfortable: good bed, great linens/towels/robes, small but good flat screen... more

This is a very nice hotel in a truly beautiful part of the world. We had decided to stay a night in North Fork on our road trip of New England and Long Island and had a very pleasant stay. The rooms are beautifully appointed. Wireless internet and cable with its own balcony. The TV is an LCD, although small.... more

First time out in greenport, usually spend week in Montauk. Loved everything! The Hotel itself was great. Beautiful decor, clean in and out, rooms were good size, great views, nice balcony, cool showers (only knock is TV - very small). Breakfast was great, larger than usual continental. Bread, bagels croissants, cereals, juices, granola, yogurt, coffee, tea, etc. Saved us $... more

My girlfriend and I stayed in a suite for our Valentines Day present to eachother. We got a package with a dozen roses and a bottle of champagne. Somewhat costly but everything was amazing. Jacuzzi tub, enormous balcony (it was cold out, but had my morning coffee out there), and great town made this weekend getaway unforgettable. We walked the... more
