We were recently in the US on a bit of a road trip and we had booked to stay here as an overnight stay on our route from Niagara to New York City. We checked in and were met by our wonderful hostess, Claudia.we then took a walk into the quaint town of Greene, which is lovely then decided to... More

My husband Steve and I learned many years ago that great customer service is just doing the little things that bring a smile to our customer. It was just a little thing to help our guests out with their car. I got to spend a little extra time with two wonderful people while helping them solve a problem. We love... More

I recently had the privilege of spending one night at the 1810 Juliand House. I was in town to perform at the Chenango River Theatre and Steve and Claudia hosted my stay. The house is set back from the Main Street that winds through the center of town. It is in a very rural yet pristine setting - like you... More

We spent two nights in this historic 1810 home in the quant village of Greene, NY. What a pleasant find and a refreshing change from the over-priced hotels we usually stay at in Ithaca, NY. It was only 55 minutes to Ithaca and the colleges in that town. The hospitality couldn't have been better. We all felt right at home.... More

This is our second visit to 1810. You can read our first review to see how much we enjoy staying there. But this time I wanted to call out that we had a unique pet situation where we had to bring our Parrot with us due to medication requirements. The owners were highly accommodating and let us keep Rudy downstairs... More

We traveled from Brazil to show our little 4 year old daughter an unique experience of the american way of life. The owners are very polite and welcomed us with the best breakfast we ever had. We had to take home their handmade cups as souvenir. The accomodations are comfortable and they preserved the place history so you kind of... More

We were attending a friend's wedding in Courtland so it was a little drive, but well worth it. Our room was beautiful......historically inspired with modern amenities. The private bath lovely......modern, blending beautifully with the bedroom décor. The public areas were very extensive: parlor, library, TV/Game room and my favorite, a kitchen for guests only, with snacks and a refrigerator stocked... More

The true ambience of relaxation. The epitome of charm. The substance of history. The friendliness of the welcome mat from start to finish. Discerning palates will delight at each meal. Pastoral as the smoothly winding Chenango.

We stayed with Claudia and Steve for 5 nights in late April and it was everything we hoped for. We had a beautiful room with private bath and the bed was so comfortable. Claudia made us tailored breakfasts and the common shared guest kitchen was open 24hrs for personal snacking and use during the day and evening. We felt like... More

Our group of 6 stayed here recently and was totally satisfied by the combination of privacy and family-style welcome we received! The breakfasts were fantastic, tailored to our needs, and the beds very comfortable. We were able to especially enjoy socializing in the clean, homey comfort of the several common guest spaces including sitting room, wide hallway, and guest kitchen.... More

I stayed here for a week during a research trip. It was so much more enjoyable and comfortable than a hotel. My room was clean, charming, and quiet, and the bonus is the living and kitchen area for guests. It was like having a whole house to come back to at the end of the day. The breakfasts are delicious,... More
