I enjoyed my stay in this familish style hotel (with a Fullers pub combined) I was put in room 11 which has the best view, from different windows/angles of the river Thames. The choices for diner are quite limited, but well cooked. IMHO the rump steak could better be delivered also as a bigger one, mine was difficult to find... More

We decided to stop here as we see it as we drove over the bridge, parked nearby, free parking for 2 hours..loved the little sign outside with the dog ferret horse chains, flowers all around, views of the river, plenty of seating even if all a little huddled together...sat outside which was nice view..on arrival a man said restaurant or bar,i said neither outside so... loved this pub with accommodation, spent our last night of UK holiday here before flying off back to OZ. We liked the riverside location , it was much nicer than staying in an anonymous and expensive airport hotel. Restaurent was busy, food was ok, service good, rooms are old but charming, will visit again

I stayed for one night at the Swan Hotel on business in Staines. I didn't expect much and that was just as well! The pub itself seemed okay although I didn't stay downstairs for a drink. Upstairs however was run down and well in need of a makeover. My room was small, and old fashioned. The bathroom was clean, but... More

Stopped off at The Swan whilst out on the river with friends. Very poor service although the young people were polite. The food was very poor & I would not recommend this place to eat, raw lamb, raw burger & cremated pork in the very sub standard roast. We paid our bill & left, on the way out my friend... More

This is an old pub, located directly on the banks of the Thames. Due to the nature of the building, some of the bedrooms are very small with even smaller en-suite facilities. Some rooms have spacious, private balconies overlooking the river. Friendly and helpful staff, but no night cover. Limited on street parking, but quiet area.

Beautiful location on a perfect summers evening. We booked a table for this birthday meal. The table had birthday sparkles over it, balloons tied to a chair and on a wall w a bday banner..provided w o asking for by The Swan. Food was v slow in coming due to new chef and shortage of staff. However the management did... More

My Husband and I stayed at the hotel for 2 nights (room 10) which over looks the Thames. The hotel is a lovely old traditional pub with a relaxed atmosphere. I emailed ahead to request a nice room as it was my Husband's birthday during our stay, there was a bottle of Proseco on ice and a birthday card in... More

We were not expecting to be welcomed HOME at this adorable hotel. Honestly we chose the Swan from the charming pictures and location to the water. We were very early arrivals from overnight flight and still were invited in, offered a breakfast menu and coffee and huge smiles. The entire staff was working diligently to make sure their hotel was... More
