I decided to finally take the plunge and take my daughters camping. We decided to go local and try a single night. Great campsite, clean facilities, friendly staff-excellent, first rate ! - given this experience I will certainly take the kids camping again - and am already looking to book our next trip. I want to go further afield, but they... More

The staff here are not nice people. Basically it is run by a group of friends and they do and say what they like, when they like. I'm still in shock at their behaviour towards my family and I. Do yourself a big favour and find somewhere else. It really was the worst place I've ever stayed at in my... More

I have never felt the need to leave a bad review until our stay here! We stayed at this campsite for a weeked break with children aged between 3-13 with a couple of other families. When we arrived it looked ok and we were looking forward to a couple of days letting the kids play and family games together. We... More

The two ladies managing this campsite need a serious lesson in manners! There was 14 of us in total and our party had a handful of children. We were made to feel like prisoners from the moment we arrived and we were spoken to with no respect by Sylvia and the other female staff. I felt they targeted my 13... More

Not the most ideal site if you are a light sleeper, the M3 motorway is a few hundred yards away and you can be guaranteed to hear jets taking off every few minutes from Heathrow. The motorhomes pitches are next to the road, which is not a main road but traffic was constant through the night. The site has fixed... More

Stayed at this campsite for the bank holiday, when we arrived the lady read out a list of rules, things we could not do! No noise after 11.30 at night was one of them. Sat night, music went on til 12.30 at night, not in a club house, full blast disco in the middle of the field right next to... More

Good little site if it's family camping on a budget that you are after. Ten mins drive from Thorpe Park. We also hit Central London a few days; best bet is to drive to Hounslow West tube station (15mins) then get the Piccadiily line - don't go to Hatton Cross as although nearer is twice the car parking cost. All... More

I dont tend to leave things like this but Having read some of the reviews on here I was a little worred about staying here. BUT these people must spent all there time in a 5* hotel and have unreasonable standards. We had a fantastic time, so much so that my 5 and 8 year old girls cried because they... More

We had out first experience of family camping this week so was very unsure how the children would be. All our fears were put at ease with a lovely big safe area for the children to run about (there were 11 children from 4 families in our group). We had two sets of french school trips stay during the week... More

We are new to the world of camping and so needed a gentle introduction, Laleham campsite gave us just such an experience. We got into camping as our son goes to a scouts group and has been on a trip with them. Since then we have organised a family camping trip with the scouts group and felt as though we... More
