The accommodation surely can use some upgrading, especially the bathrooms. The information about Matobo park we got at reception was not very adequate and let us feel a bit put off. Dinner was very very basic and we were not really looking forward towards our second night's dinner. The owner is very friendly however.

We had two nights and one day here, which was a good amount of time. Thatched cottages are set out in the garden behind what was the farmhouse (now the bar/restaurant). Ours was freshly painted with wonderful original paintings on the wall. The cottage had a small kitchen suitable for making sandwiches and tea/coffee, as well as a small lounge... More

We stayed at The Farmhouse as part of an independent tour organized by Travel Wild Holidays based in Victoria Falls. Brent did an excellent job of finding first rate accommodations and experiences within our budget. Everything worked smoothly including being picked up in Bulawayo by Alex from The Farmhouse. We had a lovely, private cottage with sitting room and small... More

Stayed at the Farm House for 3 nights with a group of students and found the food, service, accommodations, and activities at the farm to be excellent. Being so close to the National Park allowed our group easy access to bushmen cave art and horseback trips to view the wildlife. The owners and sons were available to help with any... More

We really liked the nature, quite, ostriches, zebras and the homely feel during dinner. We wish we had enough time and days to really enjoy the place an all the activities on the menu. Brilliant place!

Very nice place to stay to visit Matopos from. Staff and owners is very helpful and friendly. Cottages are very well equipped and tastefully decorated and VERY CLEAN. Set in a beautiful area of Zimbabwe. The food is also very good and the coffee which is grown in the east of Zimbabwe is "to die for".

Had a great day in the serene surroundings with plenty game on the property including a tame zebra . The property is located deep in the matopos national park and has a pretty garden, swimming pool, restaurant and bar and accommodation. It's surely a good place to visit.

Great place to stay - friendly staff, great hospitality, good food and super place to stay at. Lots to see in the area and horses are in excellent condition. Hope the game reserve fence will be finished soon and they repopulate with a few more animals. Great place to relax and enjoy the bueaty of the Matopas

Fantastic stay at a family run Farmhouse. Alaistar - eldest son - took us on a 4 wheel drive tour and showed us many interesting features of the property. Next morning I was talked into a horse ride through the property by my friend. Had not been on a horse for many many years - was one of the highlights... More

Having travelled in South Africa several times, i decided to visit Zimbabwe for the first time in 2011 and i could not have picked a more beautiful location to stay.
