I love the Lake George region. I was excited to go for a quick weekend visit in April. This was the first time i had heard of the Queensbury and was concerned, because in this region there are a lot of old places to stay. So, i viewd it on line and found it had been updated, which made me... More

Loved this older hotel. We booked through hotels.com and the room we had booked wasn't available. The hotel notified us through hotels .com in advance trying to accommodate our needs. They were very pleasant. Our only complaint was it was a little noisy, as one room was near the elevator. If we were to stay here again I would request... More

Do not book this hotel. I booked and paid in full for my room with king size bed. I arrived at the hotel and it was packed with kids for a soccer tournament all waiting in line to get their rooms. After i finally checked in they put me and my wife right in the middle of all the rooms... More

It is unfortunate that this situation took place. Customers who book reservations on Ecommerce sites need to read all contractual policies. We highly recommend it. If guests read the terms of service, they will see that they are welcome to request any room type that a Hotel offers however, it is a request not a guarantee. Hotels.com and some of... More

The Queensbury was a pleasant surprise. Built in the 1920s, it still has the charm of that era but has been completely renovated. The rooms felt more like staying in an old B & B than a hotel. There is a restaurant and pub onsite called the Fenimore which is a nice feature. The girl working at the front desk... More

Downside: It's flippin' cold in there. (If your a coffee fanatic well...the coffee is horrible. Upside: Coffee shop in town. Nice old-style hotel. No chain here. The decor is stylish, the building itself is filled with charm. The elevator is always waiting for you, nice touch. The staff is professional, warm and friendly. The lobby is beautiful. The room is... More

I spent 4 nights in this hotel while working in Glens Falls. I selected the hotel because it was 5 minutes from where I was working. This is a classic old hotel from a by-gone era. It has been remodeled but still retains the old charm. The staff were very nice and helpful. I had a decent sized room with... More

I had to return to Glens Falls for a funeral and contacted Amy at the Queensbury. She quickly understood my needs for a small group of rooms and provided personal service and a place for the family to congregate. This hotel as others stated is a charming reminder of hotels gone by. This property is not about what it is... More

We came from Manhatttan for a few nights. I had read some terrible reviews, but I only ever just look them over. And how happy I am that I did not listen to rude unhappy people, because this old hotel is a sweet little gem! The people were nice, the bar cute, the hot tub perfect, our room lovely, clean... More

Recc by rest stop attendants and was worth it. I had been on the road for over 1 week and staying at chain hotels. This was a beautiful hotel that was warm, people were friendly, close to restaurants although there is a good one in the hotel, quiet and quaint. Very inexpensive as only paid $80 with AAA discount. Not... More

Stayed here on a romantic Christmas vacation getaway with my fiancee. Very nice looking old hotel, but often gives you a bit of a creepy "Shining" type feeling.. especially the old long halways. Room was nice, with high ceilings, but felt a bit on the small side. Biggest complaint about this hotel has to be the temperature. The halways were... More
