This is a gorgeous property on a beautiful little island which would have been perfect for me if not for some minor issues. First, the positives: 1) The room was brilliant (Villa De Charme Elegance) 2) The majority of the staff were very friendly and very helpful 3) The infinity pool is incredible 4) The restaurant has great food 5)... We stayed at Le Domaine de l'Orangeraie for 3 nights during our 2 week honeymoon to The Seychelles. Our first impression of the hotel was fantastic, very clean with a beautiful pool area and amazing views out to the sea. Our room was quite a bit of a way up the hill which wasn't a problem as there was always... More

This is a beautiful property that is sadly let down by a lack of good management. Service throughout is patchy at best. They clearly need to establish or revamp a training programme for the staff. On the whole, the staff are nice, but they lack the training and motivation to provide the service expected at this kind of property. The... More

The accommodation and facilities are beautifully put together. We stayed in one of the premium bungalows up the hill and it was sumptuous. Rarely seen a nicer place. Very good service and facilities in general, plus located on a gem of an island. The restaurant doesn't quite keep up though. Food wasn't terrible, but almost always overcooked, even when requested... More

only went for a drink to watch sunset but it is in a beautiful location with lovely views of the boats coming into the port. Staff are helpful and discreet. Lovely looking swimming pool and I like the general minimal, stone style of the hotel. It has a nice boutique just opposite too, although I think the clothes are marked... More

Most of travellers in Seychelles are going for a comined of differents islands and do at least 3 hotels... We did that and the last destination was La Digue and Le Domaine de l'Orangeraie. They have the price of a 5 stars hotels but definitively seems to be a bit "artisanal" as compared to the splendid luxury hotels we went... More

We stayed for 4 nights at La Domaine in March. I have to say it was excellent and better that we could have hoped for. Firstly La Digue is great. Cycling around the island, hardly any traffic, finding secluded, almost empty beaches and stopping off enroute for a beer - it doesn't get much better. La Domaine was great, it's... More

We didn't stay at the hotel but did visit the bar / desk on a couple of occasions for an expensive drink and sunset. The cocktails are great and sunset views simply stunning but make sure to get there early for a sofa seat.

We have been island hopping and this is the third hotel we have stayed at in the Seychelles. This is not cheap, but the website promises much. The reality is far different. We had one very bad experience but will mention that last. Positives, good setting, lovely pool, spacious villa(deluxe) and well decorated Negatives, variable food quality, air conditioning in... My fiancee and I are continuing our quest to find a wedding location so this year we tried 2 places in the Seychelles. Le Domaine De L'Orangeraie was our first location, reached via 2 international flights, one local flight and a ferry journey. The hotel itself is approx 400 metres from the jetty so a very quick trip from ferry... More
