We stayed four nights in May, 2006 and really enjoyed the island and the hotel. The view of the rocks, beach. and other islands from our room and balcony was drop dead gorgeous. Travel agents visiting the island stopped in front of our little house to take pictures. The beach across the road (not much traffic....most people use bicycles)...did disappear... more

We did not spend the night at this hotel, but we had lunch there. The food was really delicious. Fish cooked to perfection with nice creole sauce. We were in La Digue in 2001 but staying at another hotel. However, we regularly walked through the Patatran Village and it looked soulless and boring, no fun being had by anyone. All that and terrible food too. Seems like it's best avoided. more

I would never recommend anyone go here. The Lonely Planet review said it was the place to eat for a treat: I can only assume a hopeless new chef has started in the interim.
