We stayed here just for one day during a trip to La Digue island. It is a lovely place, and the staff were very friendly. The pool was very enjoyable with a swim-up bar (cheesy but try it and you'll love it). The food was reasonable for the Seychelles, and the white wine tasted like wine rather than some of... more

Terrible place to stay. Not worth the money. Expensive. Satff are not friendly. Rooms are sometimes dirty, smell from the cafeteria downstairs. The owner is not pleasant himself. I would not recommend. more

My husband and I spent our first two nights of our honeymoon in the Seychelles at the La Digue Island Lodge, in an A-framed chalet. The island is very remote, not much to do except rent bikes or lay on the beach - which is beautiful but full of little white crabs. When we arrived in our chalet, the entire... more

Our first and only advise is to stay at the L'union Estate Chalets (which are associated with La Digue Island Lodge), but are located inside the park! If you stay at the lodge you will have to pay fees to get into the park where Anse Source D'Argent is located and there are specific hours that it is open to... more

The hotel is old, needs refurnishing and redecoration. The surroundings are quite beautiful, but the beach is disappointing and full of little white crabs. The food is lovely and the drinks are relevently cheap. I prefer Praslin Island. more

I’ve just returned from a 2 week holiday in the Seychelles and we spent 3 smashing days on the island of La Digue at the Island Lodge complex. Here is my review. The accomodation is in A framed chalets which are situated either on the beachfront or in the gardens. We opted for the beachfront which is a little more... more

The prices for the rooms are ridiculously high for the quality of food and service offered. The quality of the food offered is far from being satisfying; the quality of the service is simply unacceptable. La Digue Island Lodge is simply not worth the money you have to pay for it. Service Standards The hotel personnel are moody and unfriendly.... more

I traveled to the Seychelles (SEZ) from the US (IAD): It was my first visit and my first, long-distance trip by myself. I've just returned from a week at the La Digue Island Lodge--I found outstanding accomodations, food, and service...low-key, safe, very professional, and classy. Great hotel staff, local guides, and guests. I stayed in an A-Frame Chalet facing the... more

Detached chalets are clean and very comfortable being well spaced throughout the resort gardens. Food was of a high standard and plentiful. Hotel is situated along a very shallow lagoon making swimming virtually impossible. There was also a lot of seaweed and coral outcrops. If you are capable of swimming over the surrounding reef and into deep water you will... more

We spent few days in an A-frame chalet at the beachfront and had a great time. The location is amazing, few steps from the shore. From our deck chairs we could relax and enjoy dawn and sunset. The chalet was really nice and cosy. We were on a halfboard basis and liked the restaurant as well. Staff were friendly and... more
