Beautiful building, rooms and room decor are average and could use some improvement, but area has not much to chose from. Most other hotels in area I found are overpriced dinghy motels and this was best so far. Huge place, kind of a maze and could do with a bit more inspiration as far as individual room decor. Otherwise clean

I chose the Glen Cove Mansion as the destination for my wedding anniversary. Overall, the mansion itself and the grounds were fine. The mansion is off the beaten path and needs more lighting @ the entrance. The room was spacious and comfortable, I found the bed a little to soft for my liking. I do however still recommend it for... More

This is a fantastic stay. It is amazing. Make time to walk the grounds. The rooms are good but the beauty of the property and architecture make it special. There is a pool, hot tub, sauna, steam room, racket ball court, fitness room, locker room, ping pong, pool table. The staff is excellent. downstairs the library business room, and lobby... More

As others have remarked, the drive up to the mansion is quite impressive. This was once a stately home on the North Shore and it has retained its elegant external beauty. Once inside, however, its age and lack of care show. All surfaces seem worn and need updating. My room and bathroom were serviceable but dated. Cleaning is spotty. Because... More

I was here for a week for a sales training with YSL/Giorgio Armani Cosmetics. The staff was excellent, we were fed every twenty minutes, there are modern conveniences and I felt like I was staying at a top of the line resort. I recommend this place to everyone. I'm bringing my family here for vacation next year.

Good: * Lovely grounds, wonderful approach. * Great breakfast. * Seems to cater well for weddings, conferences, etc. Needs work: * Interior styling is a bit dated. * Some rooms could use more upkeep (e.g. wallpaper peeling off). * Some noise issues (e.g. on loud hallways, near ice machines).

The grounds are beautiful. The hotel is quiet. The staff is friendly. Wifi is free and fantastic. And they're dog friendly, which is hard to find in the area. Rooms are not in the mansion itself, but in buildings added on later. Would stay here again!

This is a nice mansion that was once probably very luxurious. However, the majority of rooms are in '70s-looking extension wing without any period details, dated looking and very far from the main building with many stairs and hallways. The bathrooms are quite nice but the rooms and hallways feel old and dated. Breakfast was very nice and with excellent... More

I booked this hotel for the labor day long weekend for my husband and I about a month ago. I didn't revisit the reviews until a week before visiting and after reading I nearly cancelled. I'm SO, SO glad that I didn't. We paid $240/nt for our room for three nights. It was worth every penny. This hotel is not... More

This hotel is totally dissapointing . It does have some nice pictures on the internet and attractive name " mantion " but it will leave you with a bad feeling of wasted money. It is sooooo dirty and neglected . The showers are from 100 years ago and you have to wait few minutes until you have water running to... More
