Our room ( 305) in the Vinifera Inn was very elegant The Vinifera Inn is connected to the Castle. A lake view, fireplace and Jacuzzi made our stay delightful. There were also robes, slippers, wine glasses, toothbrushes and toothpaste along with the normal things you would expect. Our only complaint was that the heater was very loud and kept cycling... Vinifera Inn is part of the Belhurst Castle properties in Geneva N.Y. The initial reason for staying there was so we didn't have to drive to or from a January wedding reception, held at the Castle, in the middle of a Central N.Y. winter. We were given room 205 and upon entering we were immediately impressed with the spaciousness of... More

We got married 6 years ago at Belhrust (and stayed in the tower suite then). We came back for a 6th anniversary dinner/overnight and booked a Vinifera room. We were in Room 307. The room had a nice view, and was in pretty good condition. The bed was comfortable and the room was over sized. The bathroom was a little... More

We went to the Belhurst for our anniversary, and stayed in room 203 of the Vinifera. Our room was nice, large, with a beautiful view. The bed was fine, the Jacuzzi and fireplace also. The shower did not have much pressure and it was not really perfectly clean, which I would expect at these prices. The crpet looked old, and... More

Stayed here for our niece's wedding that was held on the expansive, beautiful back lawn of Belhurst Castle. Rooms were spacious enough, excellent views of the Seneca Lake. Water pressure in the shower wasn't very good so if you have long hair be careful of using too much shampoo. A bit pricey but you're paying for the ambience and are... More

Room 201 was a joke. For what we payed we felted ripped off. Almost $400 package deal with jacuzzi tub, king bed, fireplace and dinner. Dinner was great. Stephanie was terrific. Lamb and veal were cooked to perfection. DessWert...meh. Room with a beautiful view but it stopped there . Fireplace didn't work, showerheads barely had any water trickle through them.... More

Just returned from two nights at the Vinifera Inn and it lived up to expectations. Nice room with a lake view, Jacuzzi tub for two and fireplace. Quiet, clean and lobby staff were friendly. Really enjoyed the wine tastings in the attached area and free, no hassle parking. Is it a palace? No, but for $226 a night, it's a... More

When I stay in a 250 a night room I expect a comfortable bed. The bed is hard and motel quality with frayed old linens and blankets. The polyester bed spread was worn with holes and threads everywhere. The first morning, the shower heads didn't work. The next night at 5 pm we came back to no towels. We didn't... More

This is a great place for the most part. The food, service and atmosphere in both dining rooms is absolutely terrific. Don't miss a chance to eat here. We stayed in one of the turret rooms which was very spacious and comfortable. However, the lack of wifi was very disappointing and, we thought it odd that they still use the... More
