We had a nice spacious room at Chapman House which was clean & comfortable. Owners knew enough about the area to give good advice on nearby things to do. Bathrooms were clean and had both a shower and a bathtub. Seneca Lake is a nice place to visit and a stay at Chapman House is a good place to relax... more

Everything about this place is delightful --- the setting, rooms, furnishings and the owners. It's walking distance to Hobart and William Smith Colleges and the quaint downtown. We stayed two nights at the Chapman House. The room was very comfortable, clean, spacious; the bathroom large - shower and tub. The breakfast was very wholesome, perfect. The Chapman House is great if you are visiting someone at Hobart College or going on a wine tour. It's in the historic area of the city, totally beautiful and the innkeepers are lovely people. They have all the information you'd ever want to know about the history of the city and WOW it's an amazing place. difinately 5 stars! more
