We read many scary reviews on trip advisor, but we decided to go ahead and book anyhow. It was not an extended stay. Yes, the motel is not fancy and yes, it is not up to date, but it was clean and the rooms were spacious. Best value for your buck. The continental breakfast was very basic. We booked a... More

We were desperate for a hotel room for a graduation weekend. All other hotels in the area were marked way up and two night minimums. This hotel was $99 and we were expecting the worst. All we wanted was clean and a place to lay our heads down. This place satisfied those needs. It seemed like it was redone recently.... More

I stayed here because it was the ONLY hotel available and just drove into town to visit my son at Hobart for the day. I should've left when I saw what the motel looked like on the outside but decided to stay since I was tired after flying in from an allnight flight. The room was dated and did not... More

We arrived and they put us in a room on the second floor of an exterior building. It was run down and scary looking. Inside the door did not lock properly, the bed had not been changed, hair on the sheets and the room smelled old and musty. Outside there were teenagers hanging around. There is a bunch of run... We do the finger lakes dig show every year- and this is a very good dog friendly hotel. Good size rooms. Big fridge and microwave. Laundry on site. And a big ice machine- which is super important with keeping dogs cool. It's not super frills- but is good for what I need. Walk out rooms. Continental breakfast - I just... More

This property is a complete dump. Dirty, old, things broken, bugs, stains, smell, disgusting. When we told them we weren't going to stay there based on that, they would not refund us the $88 we paid (hard to believe they can charge that for such a dump). They finally conceded to refund us 1/2 so that was better than nothing.... More

Definitely a budget hotel so you do get what you pay for. The reception lady was very nice on arrival. The room was clean but I didn't get that "comfortable" feeling when I was in the room. The King mattress was lumpy. The motel is old and outdated and was not overly busy but was in a good location. They... More

This is a budget motel and you get what you pay for. The motel is aged and the property is somewhat maintained. We stayed 2 nights in July 2014. The room was clean but there were some tiny pesky flies in the bathroom. The King bed had a lumpy mattress. The hotel was not overly busy but in a good... More

We were in town from out of state for a relatives wedding. Hotels were booked everywhere, so we were limited to what was available. We saw the other reviews, but decided to give this hotel a shot. This hotel was VERY outdated and in need of repairs/upgrades. Our room was musty and almost had a pool smell to it. The... More

I should have paid heed to the many bad reviews. I paid more than $100 for a room at "Americas Best" that felt like a $59 flophouse. The room - stocked with cheap furniture- smelled moldy. The wooden railings to leading to the second floor had jagged edges that looked ready to break. The bathroom had been recently cleaned and... More
