This "hotel" is an old mansion that is connected with the famous Belhurst Castle on Seneca Lake. The Manor sits up on a hill overlooking vineyards, fields and the lake. There are 11 rooms and 1 suite in the mansion and a small detached house, known as the Play House. We have stayed here several times over the years and... More

We have stayed at Belhurst 3 times and now WSM twice and honestly, we prefer WSM. If you are a person that can appreciate the fact they are trying to preserve the original architecture and ambiance of the place while also offering a few modern luxuries like a jacuzzi tub then you will be happy here. If you're expecting the... More

White Springs Manor is a very strange place. Hard to believe it's owned by the same people who own Belhurst. The interior is fine and the room was very nice and well appointed. But the exterior was a shame, both because of the disrepair of a beautiful building, and the lack of attention to the grounds. Railings are missing, paint... More

Walking in was okay. The door to our room was all chipped and paint peeling as we walked in. To make a long story short there was a man's tie hanging from the bed post from the previous guests, garbage consisting of papers under the dresser, water bottle caps under the bed, the ice bucket was broken, there was a... After reading so many negative reviews, I was a little nervous about staying here for my 40th birthday weekend, but both my husband and I and the couple we went with were pleasantly surprised. Maybe it just happened to be the rooms we were staying in, but we found our room updated and clean enough to be comfortable, but without... More

We have stayed at the main building, Belhurst Castle, before and decided to try White Springs Manor with a deal from the web. It was great having the choice of which room, with only a few off the list to choose from. It was a bit of a turn-off when checking in at Belhurst, that we were told, "park wherever... More

I was planning to be in Geneva and had stayed at Belhurst Castle previously. I decided this time to stay at this property (owned by Belhurst) as a change of pace. I won't make that mistake again. The property had not been plowed adequately. My car became stuck upon evening arrival. With no one on staff in the building, I... More

No WiFi and a crappy dated little TV. You have to drive to Belhurst to pick up and drop off keys. The room was nicely decorated and clean but not especially well maintained (peeling paint for example). There was a staircase to the toilet in the bathroom which for us was a novelty but for others may be a problem.... More

We were traveling around the Finger Lakes during a road trip and stopped in the Geneva area for one night. We wanted to stay at the main Belhurst Caste but they were full for a wedding so we were booked into the Living Room at the White Springs Manor. We actually enjoyed the change because it was very quiet and... More

My husband surprised me with this trip to white springs manor and booked the playhouse. Looking at reviews I was very skeptical. They were very disturbing. I must say we enjoyed every minute of our stay in the playhouse. No not a 5 star resort but very quaint , historic and private. No smell, no bugs, and great service. The... More
