Stayed in this inn while passing through. Lovely inn, beautifully appointed. We very rarely stay in a B&B, but decided to give this one a shot based on the reviews. My only disappointment was the breakfast. Since our visit was "during the week", we were not offered the full breakfast that I was so hoping to complete our stay. All... More

Perfect place to stay in Geneva or for that matter in the Finger Lakes. Rooms are all different, very quiet and beautifully decorated. Theresa, loved her from our first visit, couldn't be more enjoyable, accomodating or a more perfect hostess. She looks to every detail and it shows. Highly recommend!

We just had a great time in Geneva. The area is beautiful, and so is this bed and breakfast. It is in a stunning old house with a lot of history that still retains some authenticity to the period in which it was built. Theresa, the innkeeper, is a terrific person who will help you find restaurants, vineyards, historical sites... More

My husband and I wanted to celebrate our 20th anniversary in the lovely city of Geneva and had never stayed in a bed and breakfast before. We saw the review for The William Smith Inn and felt like this would be perfect. We were so NOT disappointed! Theresa and David are just the nicest people and they provided the perfect... More

My husband and I booked a quick get a away and didn't want the standard hotel experience...we are experienced and well traveled...and we do enjoy good wine alongside fresh, healthy food. Theresa helped us put an itinerary together, suggested wonderful local restaurants, allowed us the flexibility of using her full kitchen ( we have minor dietary restrictions) which made our... More

OMG! Teresa is amazing! The minute you meet her, she is a friend forever. Our stay was perfect because she is the perfect hostess! She is so willing to make your stay enjoyable by either providing information about the area or purchasing a specific tea for breakfast! She is a good cook as our breakfasts were freshly made, ample, and... More

My husband and I just returned from a honeymoon in the Finger Lakes and we stayed at the William Smith Inn for three nights. Our hosts David and Theresa Gage could not have been more hospitable. Theresa gave us the scoop on good wineries to visit and David took us to see the nearby historic observatory. The house itself has... More

This is a beautiful Inn with beautiful accommodations, and a convenient location. The owners Theresa and David are wonderful, they are full of information about the area and really know how to make guests feel right at home, they are also very accommodating. Last but not least, the breakfast was fantastic. Highly recommended. We will be staying there again!

This is our second visit to The William Smith Inn. We thought our stay was perfect on our first visit, but this visit was even better because our room was *even larger* than our first stay three years ago. The home is beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean, located ideally, and owned by an absolutely wonderful innkeeper and her husband. Theresa is... More
