Gorgeously restored historic home with a "wow" factor in every room. Theresa is an outstanding host -- very attentive, a great source of info on local sites and activities, an excellent cook, and hilariously funny! The rooms are huge and beautifully appointed. We felt completely relaxed and at home. Theresa recommended a couple of restaurants which were truly outstanding. Geneva... More

Theresa is terrific and always works to provide a fantastic overall experience. Breakfast is homemade and delicious and there is nothing better than sitting on the front porch with a bottle of wine. Love everything about it.

My wife and I stayed for one night on our way home from Toronto. The hosts were delightful, the room comfortable and filled with historic touches, and breakfast delicious. Geneva is one of the gateways to the Finger Lakes wine country and is a convenient stopping off place.

My boyfriend and I stayed here for the weekend to do some wine tours and we had an awesome weekend at the Inn as well as hitting the wineries. Upon our arrival Theresa and her husband David greeted us. These are two very wonderful people that we had the delight in meeting and staying in their lovely Inn. They are... More

My wife and I just returned from a fabulous extended shopping and getaway weekend at The William Smith Inn. Dave and Theresa are among the most welcoming, informative and FUN hosts we have ever had at a B&B (and we have stayed at many). Geneva is a very pretty town with lots to see and do ... great places to... More

My husband and I booked a weekend at the William Smith Inn to celebrate our 1 year wedding anniversary. When we arrived we were warmly greeted by Theresa, who gave us a tour of the space. We stayed in the Sturtevant room. The room was clean and warmly decorated, complete with a fireplace. Guests have access to a living room,... More

Theresa, the Innkeeper, is the sweetest person. Before meeting her in person, she helped us plan our entire trip to the Finger lakes. All her recommendations were great! The William Smith only had one room left, and we needed two, so we had our friends stay with them. Even though we didn't stay overnight, she invited us over for breakfast!!!!... More

What a great place to come and enjoy a vacation! We felt welcomed from the 1st phone conversation and it only got better once we arrived! This historic house has been tastefully updated without loosing the historic feel. Our shower and bathroom was awesome, we stayed in the Statesman room, and had loads of space. Breakfast was our choice of... More
