Nice accomodations, but REALLY STIFF cancellation policy: 20% fee if you cancel WITHIN 30 DAYS and you PAY IN FULL if you cancel anytime within 7 days because "they're a small operation and already bought the breakfast food for the guests." Quality Inn is very close to Oak Valley Inn and may not be as nice, but it is MUCH... More

This is a very unknown gem in Geneseo. We've stayed there for Geneseo's graduation this past May and unlike the other hotels in the area they did not jack up the prices for the that weekend. They even made breakfast earlier on Saturday as they knew we all had to make the graduation! They rooms are very big and the... More

The bed and breakfast was a place to stay... That was it. We got there at 6:30 very tired and ready to rest... The outside was pretty run- down and unkempt. Someone apparently was weeding days earlier and left the pile on the sidewalk. A broom was propped and left on the steps. Inside not too bad. There was a... More

I apologize for the weeds being left on the walk, that person no longer works for us and I personally cleaned them up. As far as the room not being cleaned, I can assure you that the rooms are cleaned throughly. If they were not completed I wish that you would have brought it to our attention and we would... More

We came for our daughter's graduation. The inn shifts your gears quickly from the city hustle to a quaint, park like pace. The front lawn, porch, updated bakyard parking lot -all look great. The inn keeper, Shawn, made our stay all that much better:from the greetings and flower/toiletries handout, to a hearty, delicious breakfast, to setting up the fire pit... More

I really enjoyed my time at the Oak Valley Inn. We had the Heartwood Sweet and was very cosy in dead. The owners are very generous people and had actually donated this stay to raise money for one of our local schools. They also added a facial that was fantastic. The spa is a must if you stay here. This... More

We were back for an alumni weekend - our first in many years. We had tried for something on main street, but ended up at the Oak Valley. Great price, very nice room and a warm, quiet atmosphere. It was an excellent ying of quiet and peace to the yang of our village trek. While it may be off the... More

With its lovely rooms and home-cooked breakfast, it's a wonder that the Oak Valley Inn isn't more expensive than its competitors. Our bed was comfortable, at breakfast the monkey bread was especially good, and I was connected to the free wifi in seconds after arriving. I felt a little sorry for my friends staying across the road in the sterile... More

Came to Geneseo for some local historical research re:Craig Colony at SUNY Geneseo and with local historians. Happened to luck upon this location for a place to stay. Of course, who knew I'd planned my trek the same week as the annual air show, class reunion, and street fair! Got lots of great help from Karyn and Ginny in advance... More

We have stayed at this Inn many times over the last 10 or more years. It is the old "Poor House" partly converted to a B and B and now going to get a major upgrade as it has changed owners. Always very gracious hosts with an excellent breakfast. Rooms clean and very quiet.

I feel like I must leave a more realistic review for this B&B than the others already on this site. We stayed here one night after traveling quite a few hours to see SUNY Geneseo. Upon pulling up to the B&B our initial impression was to turn around and leave. There was a broken down (bricks falling out) section of... More
