I agree with one reviewer on the amenities - for example, no premium cable channels. Even Holiday Inn includes HBO. You have to go to the front desk every time you need ice. A pain. Clean rooms and nice staff except for the guy at the front desk who checked us in. No greeting upon our arrival and seemed irritated... More

My husband and I headed up to New Paltz for my birthday weekend. I was looking for a relaxing weekend at a resort and spa so we had booked a night at the Mohonk Mountain House. After seeing the rate at Mohonk we decided to stay one night here and the second at Mohonk. BIG MISTAKE. We should have continued... More

Just got back from a two-night stay and can't wait to return! Immaculately clean and comfortable rooms. Bright and airy furnishings and common areas make this a warm and welcoming place to stay. Staff is friendly and helpful, breakfast is way more than "continental" with homemade breads and granola, cereals, fruits and everything to go with them. Lots of great... More

We were very pleased with our stay. The rooms were clean and the staff could not have been nicer! A great assortment to pick for breakfast. I would recommend this lodge to anyone that wants to get away for a couple of nights. It is close by to Mohonk, and 1/2 the price.

My husband and I recently stayed at the Minnewaska Lodge when we had events to attend at the Mohunk. We couldn't afford to stay there, so booked this other local gem. We had an amazing time and they were just wonderful with our one year old! They even had a box of toys to keep him busy. The breakfast featured... More

We just returned from a quick 3 day stay at the Minnewaska Lodge. We thought the lodge was very clean and well kept. The service was great and everyone there was very friendly (they even had complimentary cookies, hot tea & coffee all day for their guests). I was very pleased by the cleanliness of the rooms, everything was new... More

My favorite place in the entire Hudson Valley for comfort, quality and value. Love this place. I go 4x a year. Mountains behind the inn are beautiful. Breakfast is great. Bed is perfect. Try and get a room with small porch facing the back.

My wife and I were part of a large family group who were in the area for a wedding. All our special needs were taken care of, the rooms were spacious, and every member of the staff was professional and understanding. This is the kind of lodge you imagine the glitterati staying at when they are away from NYC or... More

My wife and I came up from Florida and stayed here for two nights while attending a wedding in the area. It was the middle of the Fall season, so the foliage and all of the scenery were beautiful. Be forewarned though that since this is a busy season, the price is high. Our room was clean, spacious and comfortable... More
