Stayed here for a 3 night concert at SPAC. Nice wooded sites, spaced well. We stayed on loop A (last sites available) but being close to the office for ice and wood was clutch. Brought a collapsible wagon for easy transport. Bath houses are new, clean and A+. The young girl at office during check-in was difficult but that was... More

This campground is by far one of my favorites. The sites are spacious and wooded and the restrooms are updated. There is a great beach you can walk to, with pavilions and picnic tables and a large playground. The lake is great for kayaking or rent a SUP from EMS just a few exits away (exit 15). Our camper has... More

This campers dream locale is the antidote for city living, particularly on our visit, which was after Labor Day, mid week. A lovely half day drive from NYC, the camp grounds were peaceful with the melodies of bird songs and squirrels chirping and a nice view of the lake. Gladly, for us, there were no electric or water hook-ups which... More

We loved staying here it was very clean and the sites were well spaced. I didn't like the fire pit in our campsite but the other ones looked better. Showers were new and clean also. Great hike near lake and bugs weren't bad. We visited Saratoga race track, it was close by and easy to get to. We were able... More

When we checked in with our 29 ft camped after reserving onsite, the site did not hold a 29 ft camper unless you want your awening on the side of the road, facing the road. We found a way to get it in without driving over bushes or trees. It was an open entrance that was not raked. It was... More

We stayed as two couples sharing the cabin for a week. The lakeside location was nice however that was outweighed by some inconveniences: No pets allowed, the access is a steep hill, and lack of privacy. Lugging ice and water daily was tough as was the trip to the bathroom. Definitely something to consider especially with young children. Furnishings were... More

The Good: * The campsites are a decent size and most have a decent distance from your neighbors * The playground at the beach is very nice with lots to do for the kids * Very clean washrooms and shower facilities; just remember to keep hitting the button as the water times out within a minute * The beach area... This park is very nice. Sites are very large with f. ireplaces. Bathrooms were always clean and kept up. There are plenty of bathrooms to go around as well. As with all state parks there is no power but there are outlets in the bathroom if you need. The lake is very beautiful. It is a little walk from most... More

This is great campground around a beautiful lake. The facilities are excellent, the lake is charming and there are also cabins for those who would rather sleep in a structure. The park naturalist, Gary, has lots of fun things planned. We went on a kayak trip, moonlight hike, bike ride and watched a fish filleting demonstration. On the lake we... More
