Location was convenient...right on a main road and easy access to Oswego; restaurants...we had adjoining rooms with our daughter and her family on the second floor...I had previous reviews which weren't too kind and when we checked in I requested a renovated room...Ann the clerk said that all rooms on the second floor had been renovated....rooms were newly repainted; new... I paid 175.00 for one night in this hotel last weekend. I booked a non smoking room but the room smelled so badly of smoke that I could barely breathe, so did the halls and even the common area of the hotel. The hotel was sold out that weekend and good for the owner to take advantage of the market... More

The room was clean. The bed was fairly comfortable. Wifi was adequate. Those are the nice things I can say. Beyond that, I've got nothing. I was told the rooms were "cleaned out" because they were renovating. We had no remote, no iron, no coffee maker, not even a do not disturb sign. Furniture was old and mismatched. Shower was... I will start by saying the hotel staff was polite and courteous. However, the state of the hotel is deplorable. The mattress was old, saggy and covered in stains, old bedspread, no bedskirt. Wallpaper was peeling everywhere, hardly any hot water, dead bolt didn't work, toilet kept running, outlets didn't work or had broken face plates. The 2 towels were... More

Don't stay here. The whole place needs updating and repairs. For what they offer, it is definateky overpriced. Go to Oswego instead. We found a dirty sock under the desk. The bathtub had a badly repaired hole in it and the window sill was rotten. The coffe maker station had no tea or condiments so you were out of luck... More

Hello, I expected a low quality hotel but this is pathetic. With annual outages at the nuke plants you would think they could upgrade. Pros first: 1. Expense 2. Location being right on NY 481 in south fulton 3. noise level low (no guests helps) 4. Bed was old but still comfortable Cons now: 1. No security side door always... More

I don't understand the Oswego area. Generally, the lodging offerings are a bunch of 2-2 and 1/2 star chain or independent outfits that charge $80-$175 (!) a night. Many are older and worn. I decided to try Riverside Inn in Fulton this visit; a bargain on Hotwire. Yes, the rooms show some wear in spots. It's a kitchy plance. The... More

Our room was clean, my wife's first pet peeve. Some of the furniture looks like it came from an antique store but overall, for the price, we were satisfied. We would stay again and we are looking to revisit the area this summer during the Harbor Fest.

Honestly, the place needs a good update, everywhere. The rooms were clean with decent lighting, clean sheets, clean bathroom and s great view of the river. The staff could use an overhaul in customer service but all and all it worked.
