Inn located in a nice/quiet town. Inn staff was nice. Old TVs but they work. Wifi was inconsistent. Nice place if you're just looking for a quick place to sleep. Not a big deal but the mattress pad was holy and in definite need of replacement. Did not find anything crawling in the room. The deal breaker for coming back... More

Checked in, credit card already charged for the entire stay, room ready. Turned the two 60 watt lights in the room on and circuit breaker blew and one lamp cord smoked. One trash can, no table, only one chair, a rocker. Three days no maid service, no fresh towels, no trash emptied, no night safety lock, no phone, no clock,... More

My family and I needed to spend two nights in Fort Edward and had only a day's notice in advance-- the Inn was absolutely perfect. We needed four rooms between the nine of us, which might have been an issue in high season but luckily was fine in the dead of winter. We stayed in the "luxury" rooms, which were... More

A good place to just sleep. We never saw an employee but they left us very good instructions. They called me with my room number and lock code. The room had a beautiful antique trunk and quilts on the beds. Will Moses pictures on the walls. Each room had it's own theme and decor. Room was spotless and beds comfortable.... More

We were looking for a one-night stay, having left for a vacation a night earlier to get a head start and beat some of the city traffic. We found this inn online, it had good reviews, and we expected a typical mom-and-pop roadside motel. WOW! The room was....incredible – immaculate, comfortable, nicely decorated. Our room included a walk-in shower with... More

For a 2nd year in a row a group of us stayed at the Historic Inn and Debbie once again made it work seamlessly. The hotel is well situated and perfect for a good night after a long days travel.

About a dozen guys traveled by motorcycle from Canada to ride in the Fort Edward area and one of the guys has stayed at the motel in past. Without exception we were all amazed at the motel and how we were royally treated by Debbie. I would recommend this motel without reservation to anyone looking for a place in the... More

From the roadway, this simple unassuming inn doesn't reveal her charm right away, but rather she quietly wins you over with her amenities. Easy access to the main roadway so we didn't get lost arriving so late in the dark. We opened the door to find our room warm and charming with just a touch of a "theme" but without... More
