We visited this campground sight unseen because of the outstanding reviews we had read. Boy, were we disappointed. At $80 per night, we expected at least a level site for our 38' 5th wheel. Not so, my friend. I guess if you're visiting NYC, this place would suffice, but even the bus tours they run out of here take 1... More

We chose this spot for its closeness to NYC. They claim they are 46 miles from Times Square. We pulled it up on Google while there and it said it was 62 miles. We asked about riding the train they claim is 15 miles from the campground. They advised driving 35 miles in the opposite direction for a direct 90... More

Not sure what one reviewer was talking about that the NYC tour was in a small van..we had a large bus, Leprechaun tours, with 38 passengers not counting the guide and bus driver. The guide was an older man, Al, but he knew his stuff. We enjoyed the sights he showed- Times Square, Ground zero, Broadway, Ellis Island and Statue... More

Good Sam Club rates this park 9.5,10,10. Just shows me that Good Sam doesn't check properties very often. The sites were at the top of a mountain. It was very noisy with tractors and machinery running constantly. The permanent residents drove diesel pickups and you can expect to be awakened about 6AM. The electricity voltage averaged about 118. The WI-fi... More

I found the campground to be pretty much as advertised. It was clean and quiet. I chose this one because it is billed as the closest full service campground to NYC. My only complaint (and it is minor) is that the staff was unfamiliar with the area. They were all part time employees from out of the area. So, I... More

Very warm and inviting welcome. Campground does have a steep climb to the RV sites. Many campers were long term, and these RV’s appeared really rough, which presented a negative look on the park. Our campsite was level. Verizon phones were able to maintain a 4g signal. Wi-Fi was strong, and reliable, but weak during busy weekends. DirecTV (free standing... More

Stayed here as part of a trip to the New England States to see the Foliage. (Off I-84) Florida is acquaint town....a Farmers Market right in town yielded some wonderful fruits and veggies grown in "The Black Dirt". The Soon's Farm & Orchards had delicious Cider & Hard Cider just outside of town. Wine tasting at Warwick Valley Winery was... More

Do not pay extra for the NYC tour because it's NOT worth the money! Staff even told us we would have been better taking a train on our own into the city. Waste of money! Not even sure how they figured the cost of it. The activity staff was nice but the building was rarely open. The roads were paved... More

We stayed here 4 nights August 14' This is definitely not a Destination/Resort CG! Check -in was ok. Lots of Info and directions to different places in the. The Pool is near the Office (bottom of the hill). The CG is at the top of the Hill, and they actually have a 20 mph speed limit going up the hill... More

This was an ok campground. We wanted a spot close to the train station that would take us into NYC. So we left camper here and drove the 20 min to train station. Highly recommend that trip. The ladies who run the activity room were great with kids. Other then that, this campground was just ok. I wouldn't choose it... More
