We originally had a reservation at the Hotel Sierra because of all the great reviews on Trip Advisor. When we arrived, the pool was closed and it just looked so hectic. We found a Hampton Inn that was behind a few other hotels. When we walked in, I knew we made the right decision. The hotel was spotless. The pool... more

Our three day stay of 13 people in 6 rooms was excellent. Making the reservations and dealing with the group sales manager was a nightmare. The front desk staff was pleasant and helpful upon check-in. They corrected the wrong number and type of rooms arranged through the group sales manager, even though our contract was correct. I say arranged, because... more

We chose this hotel just by chance while on a trip. I used my AAA card and got a great rate! I thought being in NY we would be paying through the nose, but that was not so! We were very happy when we checked into our room. It was very clean and you could tell it had recently been... more

In the process of renovation so I can't be very harsh. On the plus side, the staff was very friendly and accomodating, solving the few problems we brought to their attendtion. New bathroom and flat screen TV some of the updates. Great swimming pool and good coffee 24 hours a day. Problems staff solved: No refridgerator in our room (front... more

My family and I just returned from a one night stay at this Hampton Inn. Having never stayed at a Hampton Inn before, and after reading a few not so great reviews, I was a little nervous about our trip. BUT....it was great!! The hotel was clean and well maintained. Our room was also very clean. The kids LOVED the... more

I travel a lot and elect to stay in Hampton Inns, mainly for the high quality and reasonable prices. This Hampton Inn was one of the bad ones. I called to book a smoking king size room, but I was told that they only had a double accesible smoking room. Gentlemen taking care of my reservation said that if a... more

This hotel had many negatives. 1) Reception staff (EXCEPT for the African American lady the next morning, who was really helpful) were not very friendly. I don't want chit chat, but I do like a smile at check in. Then, when I asked for shampoo and conditioner because there wasn't any when we first checked in, I was told that... more

I visit the fishkill area several times a year and have stayed in quite a few of the hotels there. Hampton Inn was by far the worst. When I got there, the nonsmoking room smelled strongly of smoke. I changed rooms, and the second room was filthy - there was a visible layer of dirt and grime along the window... more

We picked this hotel based on its proximity to a number of Hudson Valley art museums and galleries, and were surprised at every turn. Desk staff were pleasant and unobtrusive, rooms were clean and comfortable. Best part of the deal was the free breakfast. Unlike so many places, this hotel had HEALTHY options, lots of whole grain cereals and fresh... more
