Disgusting would be a compliment. Read all the other reviews. They are all true. Find somewhere else to stay and pay a little more if you have to or really want to go. I left early, and when i got home i threw everything i took with into the laundry even if it had not been worn. This placed skeeved... More

This place makes Motel 6 look like the Four Seasons! Check in was ridiculous…the staff completely untrained and spending more time on personal phone calls than customers. Door lock broken, no toilet paper, lights not working, A/C a mess, shower handle fell off… and those were the highlights. Cigarettes strewn around the property, floor unfinished, bugs and sand everywhere. And... More

I had almost 100 hotel nights last year and have never written a review, however i have reached a new low when I stayed here for the weekend. Very expensive. Check in rude and inattentive. The room did have a bed, but no lamp, no AC, no other furniture. The bathroom was dirty and I would be more comfortable walking... More

Our stay at the Botel began with a bit of trepidation. We were originally supposed to stay in unfinished, hostel-style rooms with two strangers. However, upon arrival, due to the calamitous state of the rooms, the hotel manager, Joey, upgraded us to a private room with King sized bed at no charge! It was an amazing gesture that made the... This could be such a cute and unique place, but it is a trash hole. I'm not sure what happened to the beautiful furniture in the pictures you can see on here- but it all wasn't there during my stay. The AC had black mold in it. There was no electricity in the room in which I stayed. Only one... More

This hotel is right where you want to be if you're visiting Fire Island Pines. Super convenient to everything, right in the middle of the harbor and next to the bars and grocery store. Tim in the office was very helpful and the hotel is lucky to have him. He was incredibly accommodating throughout our stay. We had a beautiful... More

Wasn't sure where to crap because the whole place is a toilet. We were on the 3rd floor of the hotel, which unfortunately wasn't high enough for suicide. Was pretty sure that I could hear someone sobbing from the manager's office for one of the nights I was there. I loathe this place.

The room was $600 a night. My pictures show what you'll get for it. Granted Hotel Ciel is a party place and most guests come for just that. Before planning to stay here it's good to know what you can expect.

Floor had sand all over it when we arrived. All furniture was broken making it unable to use the drawers. We opted to have a shared bathroom. When showering the knob for the cold water broke so we could not turn off the shower. We went to the front desk to report this but no one was there (and it... More

Had the unique experience of staying at the Hotel Ciel for 2 nights June 15th and 16th, 2012. Unfortunately there were no reviews when we booked, and by the time we saw them it was too late to change. Our Mistake... We stayed in Room 107 on the Blue Whale side of the hotel, which was a disaster. I don't... More
