My husband and I have stayed here a couple times now while visiting Fayetteville. The property is dog friendly, which is nice for us, but it really needs some upgrades. The carpet, bathroom, and furniture all feels very old and worn out. and the whole property just has a general feel of not being taken care of enough. Despite this,... More

Nice and clean, quiet inn with VERY professional staff. I had booked a hotel in Syracuse but it was too far away from the college we were visiting and just did not feel secure there. This hotel was just minutes away from the college, was quiet and secure and very comfortable. The room was nice and clean, the bed was... More

My husband and I have been staying at the Craftsman generally once a year for the last 10 years or so for a quick winter weekend getaway. In that time, I have to say we have seen the quality slightly deteriorating. The rooms and the facility in general are in need of some basic TLC and cleaning. Carpets are dirty... More

I read all of the reviews prior to making our reservation for Valentine's Day weekend. I was skeptical because many of the reviews were very negative. Our experience was fine. One small negative for me: the handicapped parking was not shoveled out and was laden with lots of snow. The atmosphere inside is beautiful, positively mission style and very welcoming.... More

My wife and I have stayed at the Craftsman Inn several times. It is very comfortable and furnished with Stickley furniture. The King suite in the Lodge portion is particularly nice. There is a large fireplace in the lobby area and fresh cookies, coffee and tea are available throughout the day. The staff is very accommodating. We recently did have... More

Stayed at the Craftsman Inn back in May for a weekend Wedding in the area and we were more than pleased with out stay. We had arrived at the hotel late at night following heavy traffic in the rain. It was probably around 1 AM when we checked in and the person at the front desk was very accommodating, checking... More

I have stayed at the Craftsman Inn twice. It's a nice hotel -- very cozy, has a friendly staff, and the restaurant is good as well. The rooms are nothing fancy but are clean and comfortable. It is also near a shopping center and Starbucks which is nice.

I don't have any issue with the hilariously large and old tv in my room. Or the spectacularly frustrating climate system (my room upon arrival was freezing - a colleagues was an oven). But, this place just needs a little work. My room had scuffed walls. The hallway had room numbers falling off the wall. This hotel is clean, but... More

The Craftsman has everything going for it. It's convenient, quaint, has a nice layout and someone furnished it with lovely mission style furniture. What is missing is a good manager. Lots of things are a tiny bit dog eared. Just a bit of replacing or refinishing things here and there would take of that. I might not even have noticed... More

This was our second stay at Craftsman Inn. It is conveniently located to where we have family and that is why we choose to stay here. I think the rooms on the first floor in the main building are a little small. The pillows need some updating on the beds. They seem to be a good bit lumpy. The free... More
