My wife and I spent a long weekend at the Woodcliff for a friend's wedding. The hotel was very clean, and comfortable, especially the bed. The room had a flat screen tv, but the bathroom was a bit small. The staff were all very nice and we had a great stay overall. Ask for a room facing opposite the parking... more

My wife and I found this hotel when looking for a good location to be near wine country. We were pleased with the overall experience, but found the prices at the restaurant to be not quite justified by the quality of the food. My wife had the center cut filet with a lobstertail($58) which came with mashed potatoes and root... more

The Woodcliff is a great spot to stay for the weekend. They have a great restarant, that has live music on the weekends. The Spa is beautiful, and the services are so relaxing. Try staying there on a saturday night, then waking up to brunch and a spa treatment. Most of the rooms come with a little sink/fridge area. Ask... more

Local resident, went for a girls week end. The hotel has aged, not well. Needs an up do. Terrible garish bedspreads, thin towels. Distracted, but nice staff. The hotel seems to be trying. Some rooms have flat screen TV's& pod docking stations....but the decor and vibe is all 1988....food and beverage are rather over priced and under radar. As a... more

Our family of three with a 4 year old toddler spent Christmas Eve in a king, non-smoking room on the fifth floor of this lovely hotel for the second year. (The first year, we accidentally got booked into the hotel via Priceline.) It is minutes from the I-90 Thruway in Rochester (Exit 45) and within three miles of the high... more

My son was performing in the NYSSMA All-State Festival at the Eastman School of Music in Rochester. My husband and I were going to attend the concert and looked into places to stay for one night ( Sat.). All of the hotels in town and the surrounding area, including low-budget chains near the airport, wanted upwards of $140.00 dollars for... more

When I first arrived I was pleased with the appearance of the common areas and restaurant. I was looking for a luxurious weekend getaway to take advantage of the spa, fine dining, and a nicely appointed guest room. This being said, I paid a little extra to upgrade to a room with a view. When I opened the door I... more

I stayed here for a few nights while in the area on business. It's not too close to the airport, but they did provide complimentary transportation if you notified them in advance (either a van or suburban) - that was really nice. The drivers were very professional, friendly, and helpful. The hotel itself was pretty nice, but as other reviewers... more

Stayed here for two nights as my organization had an event that required me to be here one night, then continued the stay into the next day to relax and enjoy. The view is beautiful, and the public areas of the facility are nicely appointed. As for event facilities - I had to ask the staff to vacumn the meeting... more

The Woodcliff has probably the best hotel restaurant I've ever eaten at and I travel far more than the average person. The indoor/outdoor pool is excellent and not many hotels have a 9 hole golf course. Try to get the glass walled, 2 story tall suite. It is amazing and has an unbelievable sunset view. more
