We arrived at 1pm, no one in the lobby, we called, there is a help phone, took two calls to get someone to answer, and a girl said that check in time was 3pm, fine, went back to car, and the house keeper came to our car, said she would get the key to the office..that should have been the... More

There are 2 motels in Endicott. One is for crack heads (literally!) and the other, Red Carpet Inn, is the other. I paid for my son to stay there a few days. I was surprised that after seeing the room he still wanted to stay. They don't bother to shovel the snow on the walks. And with this winter's snow,... More

Would not recommend staying here. Parking lot not plowed. Lobby area was very dirty and we waited 15 minutes for someone to come down and assist at the front desk. No heat in lobby area and the breakfast section very dirty.

I would not recommend this facility to anyone. This was a total nightmare and bad experience. The guy who checked me in and checked me out the next day does not work there but he was just helping out. The website state the amneties are breakfast, do not believe that. I went down the next morning get coffee, NO coffee... More

I highly recommend NOT staying, booking, or even considering this place. Called a week ahead of time to cancel reservations. Got the "ok, reservations cancelled" from the front desk. Called the day I was supposed to stay just to make sure cancellation was set and low and behold, they did not cancel and charged me! Called Orbitz because I booked... More

With gigantic crowds attending a race meet at Watkins Glen [the “premier road-racing facility”] we were told that finding a motel room within a 50-mile radius of the racetrack would be very difficult. After trying four motels, one receptionist, very helpfully, rang another motel for us much further down the State and we eventually arrived after midnight. It was all... More

So last weekend we stayed at the Red Carpet Inn because my cousin got married in Ithaca. Because money was tight, we got on Expedia and found the cheapest hotel we could and this came up. Until we were in New York, we didn't realize that this place was actually an hour and a half away from where we wanted... More

If you want Third World ambiance at First World prices, then go to the Red Carpet Inn; just be sure you have a flying carpet to get out. Room 118 should be studied in search for an infectious vector should the Black Plague break out. Here now the litany: bird droppings on the windows, broken and chipped furniture, a strange... More

I chose this property because all of my favorites were booked on this busy weekend. I waited for over five minutes at check-in, even though I was the only customer. The woman behind the desk said she had paper work to do. There was no one at the desk for check-out. There was coffee and white bread for breakfast. There... More

I stayed here recently for seven days to visit family and basically got a clean room, a comfortable bed, a heater that worked very well and a nice shower. There was a small problem with the smoke alarm beeping but this was taken care of by the owner immediately after being informed of the problem. The only negative was that... More
