Myself and my partner stayed here over the Christmas break and had the best time. The room was incredibly comfortable and had everything we wanted, the breakfasts were superb, an easy shuttle up to the slopes made it very convenient and in the evenings we easily walked into town for food and drinks at any of the fantastic restaurants. We... More

My husband and I love this bed and breakfast. First of all, the price is much better than the Inn at Holiday Valley. Second, Chef Scott's breakfasts are outstanding and include a wide variety of food. Third, the rooms are very comfortable, especially with the fireplace on in the evening after a cold day on the slopes. We have always... More

We visited in the winter. The room was nice and cozy with the fireplace and neatly made bed. The decor was old victorian style with a lot of wall art and the other knick-knacks. The room was very clean. The host Art and the chef Scott were very nice and friendly. The breakfast was the main highlight of the stay.... More

A truly relaxed atmosphere in a well equipped B & B . Wonderful host and breakfast was excellent. Next time we will book Chef Scott for dinner as well. Outside entrances to rooms is really convenient. Indeed a quiet cozy ....romantic retreat.

Beautiful rooms; cozy, inviting and well appointed. Gracious hosts, wonderful chef! Close to all Ellicottville has to offer! We stayed in the Bordello room and the pictures on the web site did not do it justice! Chef Scott's breakfasts are some of the best. We recommend dinner prepared by him right at the Lodge. You will not be disappointed with... More

We had a lovely two-night stay at the Sugar Pine Lodge. It was conveneintly located so we could walk to town or easily drive to the Alleghany State Park. The breakfast by Chef Steve was delicious and incredibly filling. Lots of delectable food options --- too many in fact. The pool was warm and lovely for a quick dip. We... More

We stayed in Suite 5. It was a cozy efficiency with everything you need ( even a washer and dryer ). Our hosts were friendly and available. Breakfast in the dining room was prepared fresh and delicious. The pool was beautiful and heated . We look forward to our next visit to Ellicotville and a definite stay at the Sugar... More

It was a really fun weekend. The location is in the town of Ellicottville, we were able to sit by the pool, swim it was 90f. Go for a lovely walk. The breakfast was great Scott fed us well & was great at introducing us to the other guests. The drawback or bonus I'm not sure is, on the Friday... More

My wife and I love this place. Great people and great breakfast. Don't skip chef Scotts Breakfast! This was our first stay at a B and B and we loved it. Short walk to town and tons of things to do. We have found a great little gem in western NY!

First of all, the owners were so nice and very welcoming. However, the place could use some updating. My sister and I shared a suite for a girls night away. The room was clean, the bed was comfy. But the room felt dated. Too many knick knacks and furniture pieces. Many light bulbs need replacing so the room felt dark.... More
