We stayed at the Stoneleigh for a long weekend. The owners were very friendly, they even volunteered to drive to 30 miles to pick up my mom from Lake Placid if she got bored watching the Ironman race. The building is interesting, it has the feel of an old castle. Breakfast every morning was more than adequate, including fresh local... More

We just returned from our 4th visit to the Stoneleigh Bed & Breakfast and each time has been memorable. Our son attends a summer camp in nearby Westport and we overnight at Stoneleigh on Parents Weekend. Rosemary, our host, is a very sweet older women who is assisted by her daughter and they could not be more welcoming. Breakfasts are... More

Rooms are quaint but charming. Breakfast accommodations were flexible and had a fabulous assortment of options. The house itself made me feel as if I was in... More

Although there were no rooms with a private bath available at the time of my reservation, the host found a guest gracious enough to change rooms. Now that's service!! The house is located off... We chose to stay in Stoneleigh, my friends and I, after a long and exhausting hike of Mount Giant. The house is absolutely beautiful and there is a fire place in every room. The old lady that owns the house is really nice and her step daughter gave us kind of a guided tour with a little bit of history... More
