I stayed with a group here over a few days in April. Maybe during the week the hotel is quiet, but come Thursday it might as well be called Club Embassy. Although there are large 9PM curfew signs, (this in itself should tip you off), teens were allowed to run throughout the hotel's indoor balconies. Which, by the way, looks... More

Always enjoy embassy suites, but I have never been to one where every staff member is smiling, throwing out so many thank yous, and making you feel so welcome. There was an issue with the pool/jacuzzi being freezing cold, which did put a damper on the trip, but the manager personally came down from the front desk to feel the... More

We stayed here during a basketball tourney and it was very nice. We received a group rate which made the stay feasible. The suites are awesome and the king bed is large enough that I didn't even know my 6'3 son was sharing the bed with me. Beautiful, clean and friendly hotel! Would recommend to anyone.

Staff very good, breakfast and chef were wonderful. Toilet overflowed but got excellent and prompt response from maintenance, who was able to fix the problem. No luck with heating issue, could not get heat below 72, we sleep with heat at 63 at home. Decided to stay elsewhere on our return trip next week.

Hi! I'm glad to see that you found our staff to be memorable! I am sorry to see that you are opting to stay elsewhere. Yes, temperature is critical. I am happy to say that the AC is up and running so keeping the room cool should not be a problem now! Thanks! Matt More

I've stayed at a number of Embassy Suite hotels over the years and this one is fairly typical in design and features. This hotel is located next to the interstate highway and traffic can get quite noisy at times in the early morning hours. I was surprised when one of my colleagues asked for a 12:30 checkout and was told... More

Hi Andrew, Thanks for taking the time to review your recent visit. I apologize for the late checkout fee on the Friday of your departure... often times weekend tours or University Sports Teams arrive early for weekend stays which require every minute after check out time to prepare the hotel for the night. Adjusting schedules even slightly can incur unexpected... More

We were in Syracuse to meet family and picked the Embassy Suites for it's online description of amenities (indoor pool, spa, on site restaurant, etc.), but will never stay here again. The hotel was overrun by undisciplined and disrespectful kids. When we tried to use the pool for example; we found it to be over crowded (with little or no... More

Hello, Thanks for taking the time to share your comments. Your experience is highly atypical and not at all consistent with that of the overwhelming majority of our guests. With our cleanliness scores in the top 25% of the Embassy Brand and great feedback about our restaurant and room service I am perplexed at how badly we missed the mark... More

This was my first experience staying at an Embassy Suite Hotel and I must say I was extremely impressed. From the friendliness of everyone who worked there, to the very clean and manicured hotel and beautiful lobby, to the clean and very quiet rooms, which were beautiful, I would highly recommend staying at the Syracuse Hotel where I stayed for... Nice facility, but close to expressway so avoid rooms that face to the north Rooms are huge, suites with separate bed room The Key card system for the room did not work very well. Maintenance staff worked hard to fix the problem. room ventilation system did not cool the room very well Food quality was very good. Fitness room needs... More

Hi David, I'm glad you liked your visit overall! Thanks for taking the time to share specific points upon which we can improve. We have new key cards on the way - since they are programmed and reprogrammed so frequently the magnetic strip looses it's effectiveness with time... new ones should help. We expect new fitness equipment within the next... More

My mom and I have stayed at the Embassy Suites for years as a mini vacation to relax. This year we decided to stay two nights (as opposed to our regular one). The hotel is gorgeous and we love the rooms and having two rooms so my mom can take the bed and I sleep on the sofa bed. We... More

Dear Riboyce, Thanks for taking the time to share this detailed assessment with me. I'll see what we can do about the sofa bed blanket. As for the music, I'm sorry that our hotel policy regarding entertainment was somehow compriomised. We require ballroom doors to be closed for all evening events for the very reason you mentioned. Additionally, we do... More

Very nice accomodations...from pick up at the airport to the breakfast buffett and evening cocktail party. Big rooms with nice features...great for the business traveler. Room was a little too warm for my liking and unfortunately there was little that could be done. Other than that a lovely place to stay when visiting Syracuse - just do it in the... More
