Just spent 2 nights being well looked after. Staff so helpful, room cosy and a breakfast fit for a king. Dined in the restaurant both nights, food was excellent. Wine and chocolates were a lovely surprise on our arrival. Will definitely go back. Thank you for a fabulous time.

I stayed here on an offer they did for a romance package. We were greeted by a lovely girl on reception who was very helpful and advised of nice walks we could go on round the local villages as It was a glorious sunny day. On arrival to our room it was stunning and had fantastic sea view, we had... More

I had the unfortunate experience of staying at this hotel recently, thankfully it was only for a single night. There is a comprehensive list of issues with this hotel which resulted in me wishing I had been anywhere else rather than here., including: entrance was dark and dated; threadbare and malodorous floor coverings; deserted reception desk on arrival; in general... The Hotel was fantastic for our dog. There was no extra cost for her and she was allowed to stay alone in the room. I was advised where I could walk her. I thought the location was stunning although it was a shame our room didn't have a view. I found the staff to be friendly although one or two... More

What a wonderful location. As soon as I saw the lovely hotel next to the village green I thought I had gone to heaven . My wife was delighted and we went in. Sadly everything went wrong from the moment we walked into hotel. We waited at the reception area but no one arrived. Eventually a waiter arrived with white... More

Stayed here on Saturday night. We had room 6 with a great view over the Firth of Forth looking over towards the Forth Bridges and an old castle across the water. Room was spotless. We had a lovely 3 course a la carte meal and cooked breakfast. Drinks were reasonably priced. The highlight of our stay was the short walk... More

We stopped for lunch & asked first if our dog was welcome - no problem outside and we were shown a shaded table in the well-kept back garden. I asked for the '2 Courses for £9.95' menu but was told this n/a outside and was shown the (dearer) snack menu. A simple 'please' got us what we wanted. Chili prawn... More
