I stayed at this hotel because it was close to a wedding I was attending and the price was very reasonable. The rooms were large, although rather dated. The staff was pleasant. I was without a car, and this is NOT an ideal place to stay if you don't have your own transportation. Other than that, however, I would stay... More

WE just got back from out stay. It was nice enough, but the room has a serious bug issue. We woke up this morning and there were dozens of them crawling around a closed package of muffins. Kinda makes it hard to recommend....but other than that- it was fine- I think..kinda.

I have a service dog I travel with. It is illegal to deny my dog access to pubic places according to the Americans With Disabilities Act. It is a federal law. Besides the desk staff behaving cold, impatient, unaccomodating and downright nasty, they cancelled my room reservation for the second and third nights because of their "no dog policy". I... More

Our HS 50th Reunion Committee chose this as our base hotel for four crazy days in September. The staff was just terrific in providing us with a hospitality room and space to store supplies. It was perfect for our group and close to all the events. Breakfast was above average and we sort of took over the lobby area each... More

The original place was 19th Century, but torn down and the current place built in the 1970's. It was obviously designed to complement Rothmann's Steak House, an adjacent 100+ year old restaurant. ENI is reasonable, considering the pricey area where it is located. But it's one of those places that isn't quite as good as it thinks it is. The... More

Stayed here for as part of a large wedding group for a friend who got married in Oyster Bay. The rates were fantastic! The staff were very friendly and accommodating - and are probably the best asset the hotel has! The rooms were sizeable and clean - albeit a bit shabby and dated. A facelift of the bathrooms, carpets, and... More

This is the most reasonably priced place in the area. An experienced traveler knows that means that things will not be up to high standards for picky people. It meets our basic requirements: clean bathroom, comfortable bed, above average breakfast compared to others . What puts this rating above average is the hotel staff. They could not have been more... I had the opportunity to stay at this hotel twice this summer. Most recent stay was after spending 2 hours at the Throg Neck bridge on my way to the Hamptons. I had traveled almost 5 hours for a 3 1/2 hour trip so I decided to stop and rest. It was 1:30 in the am and the staff couldn't... More

Stayed here overnight while attending a family wedding. It was well maintained, on the main street, and had a great simple continental breakfast. Always nice to come back to NY and get a great bagel. As it turned out it was a reunion of sorts because the manager graduated from a local high school with my husband.

We rented 3 rooms for 5 days based on the price, the location, and the recent reviews. We had stayed there for a wedding several years ago and had a great experience. This stay we were put in the newly renovated wing. Our rooms were damp and the hotel had an overall musty smell. The hotel had filled in the... More
