Nervous when I made the booking, because I like the consistent expectations of a chain. Yes, it was dated...but I knew that from doing my homework on TA :-) I requested a renovated room, and was initially assigned E-4. There was an odd smell, and it felt like a basement (damp-like). I discussed with front desk, and was reassigned to... More

Quiet, on main street, but felt secluded, neat lobby, clean rooms, inexpensive for the area, friendly staff at the front desk with directions, places to see, where to eat. It was an enjoyable stay during an extremely hectic weekend centered around a wedding. We would stay again for the staff, the serenity, cleanliness, and price.

There is no elevator, so if you can't carry your luggage upstairs , ask for a ground floor room. (Just like in Europe and Japan). HOWEVER, something few and far between in an American hotel "reasonably priced" : a bidet. (Having traveled extensively in Japan and Europe, I can attest to the benefits of the use of them. Great amenity,... More

We were in town to visit family, and were trying to balance our need to keep costs down, but finding a place that was comfortable and clean at the same time. This hotel was just what we were looking for. It was clean, it was comfortable, and it had a very warm and homey feeling. The service was great too.... More

I stayed at this hotel because it was close to a wedding I was attending and the price was very reasonable. The rooms were large, although rather dated. The staff was pleasant. I was without a car, and this is NOT an ideal place to stay if you don't have your own transportation. Other than that, however, I would stay... More

WE just got back from out stay. It was nice enough, but the room has a serious bug issue. We woke up this morning and there were dozens of them crawling around a closed package of muffins. Kinda makes it hard to recommend....but other than that- it was fine- I think..kinda.

I have a service dog I travel with. It is illegal to deny my dog access to pubic places according to the Americans With Disabilities Act. It is a federal law. Besides the desk staff behaving cold, impatient, unaccomodating and downright nasty, they cancelled my room reservation for the second and third nights because of their "no dog policy". I... More

Our HS 50th Reunion Committee chose this as our base hotel for four crazy days in September. The staff was just terrific in providing us with a hospitality room and space to store supplies. It was perfect for our group and close to all the events. Breakfast was above average and we sort of took over the lobby area each... More

The original place was 19th Century, but torn down and the current place built in the 1970's. It was obviously designed to complement Rothmann's Steak House, an adjacent 100+ year old restaurant. ENI is reasonable, considering the pricey area where it is located. But it's one of those places that isn't quite as good as it thinks it is. The... More

Stayed here for as part of a large wedding group for a friend who got married in Oyster Bay. The rates were fantastic! The staff were very friendly and accommodating - and are probably the best asset the hotel has! The rooms were sizeable and clean - albeit a bit shabby and dated. A facelift of the bathrooms, carpets, and... More
