The hotel is the closest to our family's house so we decided to stay here. It was around 100 per night so not super cheap but it is very old and the decor really reflects that. The hotel was clean and the rooms were clean. The shower head was strong and the bathrooms seemed to have some updating recently but... More

We booked the hotel as a "super 8 hotel" but it was actually the East Norwich Inn when we got here. That was a bit confusing when we tried to find it. Initially the hotel looked nice and clean. The room was presentable but upon closer inspection it needs a lot of work. The bathroom was the biggest issue. There... More

I think the place is actually quite nice. Yes, it is older, but that is part of the charm. I liked the free parking, the free breakfast which was actually decent, and the rooms have flatscreen TV and a clean bathroom. The beds aren't terribly comfortable, and there was a stale smell the moment we went into our room, but... More

Clean but very old and dreary. Who knows what lurks in the hall carpeting. Too many halls and firedoors. It is probably safe but we were glad to be near the fire exit. It's relatively inexpensive for the neighborhood so I guess you get what you pay for.

Amazing!!! What a gem! Check in with quick and employees were very friendly and helpful!! The room was rather large and very clean. Overall great hotel in a very nice area. I would definitely recommend this hotel and will stay again on my next visit.

I stayed for a short business trip. The room was huge. Although furniture and decoration were somewhat old, evrything was well preserved and clean. The mattress was new and comfortable. The TV service was ample and varied. Free wifi was available with good speed. Breakfast was included, limited in variety but with good quality. Several restaurants are in a walking... More

Nice hotel. Decent price. Breakfast was good (Danish, muffins, fruit and yogurt). Parking is included (there is a big parking lot). The room was clean and quiet. The bathroom was also clean. This hotel is a bit far from main attractions but you can still use public transport to move around easily. The staff was extremely nice and helpful. There... More

Nervous when I made the booking, because I like the consistent expectations of a chain. Yes, it was dated...but I knew that from doing my homework on TA :-) I requested a renovated room, and was initially assigned E-4. There was an odd smell, and it felt like a basement (damp-like). I discussed with front desk, and was reassigned to... More

Quiet, on main street, but felt secluded, neat lobby, clean rooms, inexpensive for the area, friendly staff at the front desk with directions, places to see, where to eat. It was an enjoyable stay during an extremely hectic weekend centered around a wedding. We would stay again for the staff, the serenity, cleanliness, and price.

There is no elevator, so if you can't carry your luggage upstairs , ask for a ground floor room. (Just like in Europe and Japan). HOWEVER, something few and far between in an American hotel "reasonably priced" : a bidet. (Having traveled extensively in Japan and Europe, I can attest to the benefits of the use of them. Great amenity,... More
