1. They can not call this place a Spa - there is a little tiny room on the side of the house where there was a massage table set up. The carpet was gross, the room looked dirty, it was way too bright & there was no ambiance - not a spa! 2. Horrible breakfast of fried crap - the... More

My husband surprised me for our anniversary and we celebrated at the Quintessentials B&B. From the moment Sylvia, the owner, greeted us I knew this place would be special for us. Sylvia has a knack for creating a relaxing and beautiful atmosphere. Her food is outstanding !! I loved our room(Kingston Room) and the location is great. I have traveled... More

My husband and I stayed at Quintessentials for our honeymoon and we cannot stop raving about both the house and our lovley hostess Sylvia Daley. Sylvia makes you feel right at home and her gorgeous house with its tranquil gardens and peaceful setting add to the bliss of your stay. We stayed in the Negril room and it was truly... More

Nestled on the eastern tip of Long Island's north fork is the Quintessentials Bed and Breakfast, one of the most nostalgic and majestic properties in existence with hospitality to rival the grandest of grand Fifth Avenue hotels. The house, a 1840's sea captains manor has been lovely restored by innkeeper Sylvia and her family, reflecting and maintaining a true appreciation... More

I had the MOST wonderful time at Quintessentials B&B 2 weeks ago. The owner treated my boyfriend and me like we were royalty! The breakfast was absolutely amazing, the owner said that the secret was to use only the freshest ingredients. We both loved the combination of a traditional American breakfast with a Caribbean flavor. As a city couple, my... More

Fabulous place to stay. We were greeted with afternoon High Tea, served by the warmest hostess, Sylvia. The food was wonderful--caribbean breakfast; Incredible spa. We had a wonderful time. Meals were excellent, and included a fantastic brunch with 3 entrees--smoked salmon, spicy corned beef hash and scrambled eggs with chives. This was accompanied by a variety of breads, tomato, cucumber... More

Quintessentials was nice. The property was immaculate. Sylvia's cooking was excellent. It was overall a very relaxing weekend. This B&B offers spa services. The massage was great. I enjoyed my stay.

I Do agree with the other reviews. Although this was my first time at a bed and breakfast and i did relieze that my wife and i are resort style vacationers. If you are into the quiet ,relaxing style place this is for you. Sylvia was a very pleasant person and makes your stay like you are visiting family .

My husband and I spent last weekend at Quintessentials to celebrate our 28th anniversary. The experience was excellent. We very much enjoyed meeting Sylvia, the owner, who is both exceptionally warm and interesting, and also interested in her guests. She was helpful in suggesting beaches, wineries, restaurants, and much more. The room was charming. We enjoyed a lovely breakfast on... More

This past weekend my husband and I went to a bed and breakfast in Greenport, Long Island called "Quintessentials" for our 10-yr wedding anniversary. We had the most relaxing time than I have had in a long time. There are FIVE ("quint" which is the cardinal number that is the sum of four and one) main reasons that we will... More
