Hotel is not very new. Rooms were clean as were the grounds. Employees were nice and helpful. Bathrooms outdated. Just a place to stay when you're in the area-not too shabby. It was actually much cheaper to stay there than other places.

I stayed here for 2 nights last week. The receptionist and the pool have limited hours. The rooms were literally double the price that we were originally quoted. So if you stay here, get the estimate in writing in advance of your stay. Their billing process is very confusing and they charged the rooms to our credit cards before we... More

Our family of four stayed three nights in July and really liked the place. Our room had a queen bed and a pull out sofa. There was also a patio with furniture overlooking a well tended lawn. The furniture was a little dated but in great shape including the patio furniture. The grounds were well cared for and the pool... More

My boyfriend and I stayed in East Hampton House recently for 3 days 2 nights ( first trip to the Hamptons)- For our budget and in comparison to other options this turned out to be a great place. We stayed in a one room studio on the first floor, which came with an outside patio and chairs to relax (... More

An entire wedding party recently stayed at East Hampton House. While our room was nice with modern touches, other rooms were lacking. My daughters room had new headboards which almost completely covered the pictures on the wall. My brothers room had the former twin headboards still on the wall, with a new King bed in the middle. His room was... More

When I arrived, I took out of my suitcase a bag of pastels and oil paints I had just bought in NY City - $140+ worth. When the time came to leave, they were gone. I called the hotel, and they claim they never found them, or "maybe the housekeepers threw them away." WOW! Would they really throw away a... More

Spent two nights at the East Hampton House. Service was pleasant and professional. The location is excellent to all East Hampton area locations, Montauk and Sag Harbor. It is on a main thoroughfare but we did not hear road noise even though we were located on the road side. The hotel is older and has wooden floors and very thin... More

Booked here for a family wedding. Room was clean, spacious, had a sitting room. The comfort of the bed was average. The location was good, a short drive everywhere, including Montauk. There was a deli across the street, and, a chowder restaurant a short walk away. A nice deck overlooking the grounds. Two of the receptionists were outstanding, one grumpy,... More

I stayed with my boyfriend at this hotel a few weekends ago. We had been here numerous times before and really love the convenient location and the serenity of this hotel. The rooms are very spacious with separate sitting area and a very large balcony! We live in NYC so it was very nice to sit outside and watch the... More

My mom has spent parts of two summers here, and she gets treated like family by the entire staff. Now I'm 56, so you know my mom is no kid. The entire staff goes out of their way for her, so attentive, so caring. Special kudos to Jackie, the hotel manager. She is the nicest person you will ever meet,... More
