We were so fortunate to be able to stay in the Carriage House for our weekend in May. We arrived at the Inn after two days on the road and were so pleased. Talk about discreet, the only signage is a small oval tucked into the hedge on the street and I just saw it in time to make the... More

We arrived to the Baker House after much excitement on viewing the property and booking over the internet. Unfortunately from the moment my 2 sisters and I walked in we were not even greeted by the staff but told to leave our bags and return at 3 pm for check in. Considering we drove from NYC for approx. 3 hours... More

We had a four day golf trip to the Hamptons scheduled with a large group and would be traveling to courses between Southampton and East Hampton. We chose the Baker House based on Tripadvisor reviews and were not disappointed. The property is simply beautiful. While I am not a big B&B fan, this felt more like a small hotel that... More

. There's quite mixed reviews for the Baker House, and being two people who have experienced a variety of properties around the world, and who have high standards, we were a little wary about whether to make a booking. Plus, the Baker House, like all properties in The Hampton's, are pretty expensive, and no one likes to make an expensive... More

Gorgeous boutique hotel / B&B in East Hampton. Had two outdoor pools to use which was great when you couldnt be bothered to go to the beach, although the beach was close. They provide everything you need from towels, chairs and umbrellas for the beach. Also the goodies in the room were top notch, everything from soap to sewing kit.... More

We loved the rooms and the breakfast! The drinks were on the honor system which was great! Location right on the busy street was noisy and the sidewalk was not well lit for nighttime walking to restaurants. The rear grounds were beautiful and we enjoyed the pool waterfall sounds during breakfast and afternoon wine!

I checked in to room 13 to find I am on the highway called Main Street , the noise was like living over the FDR drive in NYC. The other issue the staff could care less and at $840 a night totally unacceptable . Save your money and go to Nantucket , same price better service and location

My wife and I just stayed at the Baker House this month for a special occasion. While the “street noise” mentioned by numerous reviewers in the main building wasn't an issue for us as we stayed in the Carriage House, the sound of non-stop landscaping was. The Carriage House, which is located away from the street and sits in the... More

My husband and I stayed at the Baker House for our honeymoon after getting married in NYC. This bed and breakfast is amazing - the furnishings and décor are really luxurious, you are given L'occitane products in the bathrooms and the garden and pool area is so relaxing. The location is excellent - a short walk into East Hampton where... More
