Absolutely filthy and seedy. I felt unsafe in the lobby and hallways. Blood on blanket, unhooked smoke detector, human filth on walls... Friendly and helpful staff. I have stayed here twice. The property is huge, rooms are spacious and comfortable, bathrooms nice. Only issue is that the hotel is not exactly near public transportation. Great NY hotel value! Note, if you're someone who likes room service, this hotel has none.

Located across the street from LaGuardia airport this hotel is VERY convenient for a quick trip to New York. The staff is very helpful and responsive. A free shuttle compared to a $40 cab ride from Manhattan is a nice savings and convenience. I have stayed at several hotels in the area and find this the very best value.
