The barn is filthy. The cats are malnourished. Adult cats are NOT approachable, as they seem feral, but are in proximity to guests. They don't have any shots and could easily bite a curious child who dares to pick one up. Unacceptable. The feeding chores take less than 1/2 hr. all told - not quite the 'working farm' experience represented... more

My sister, my niece, and I made a 4 hour trip to Hull-o Farms for a stay of less than 24 hours (arrived by 3pm; checked out by 11am the following day). Upon arrival, we headed straight for the barn as my niece loves cats and couldn't wait to see them. To my shock and horror, the barn was nothing... more

We had the most wonderful visit to the farm. My kids won't stop talking about it and pretending to be animals & farmers. They loved getting up to do the farm chores. Feeding the baby goats was a big hit as was being followed around by kitty cats. Being there when a fawn was born was pretty special too. Sherri's... more

Everything about the experience was wonderfully authentic - kind, hard-working, hospitable hosts, delicious home-cooked meals, and well-cared for animals that our children loved to feed, milk, pet, etc. Throw in hayrides, a fishing pond, tire swings, and a bonfire and we had a weekend none of us will forget. more

I disagree with Gooseberry 14. The animals are well cared for. The cows are out roaming the pastures and if you don't see any animal dropping then you must not be visiting a farm. It doesn't even smell like you would imagine (Iv'e been to pumpkin farms that smell horrible-this place doesn't smell) I do agree the accomadations are great... more

This was a horrifying experience for our family. While the cottage was well kept and comfortable, the barn and the animals were filthy and neglected. There were animal droppings all over the place and sickly cats and kittens roamed throughout the farm. We will never return to this place. Very sad indeed. more

Loved it!

In every child’s room there is a book on a farm. Children are just fascinated with farm life: the chickens, goats, pigs, cows and little animals. Well, Hull’O Farm has brought that alive for my family. My six year old daughter loved the experience. She loved picking the eggs, feeding the pigs and the bunnies, milking the goats, climbing on... more

My friend and I, along with my daughter and her son (both 10 years of age) stayed at the farm on the weekend of October 11. I'm still so excited about this trip that I wanted to share our experiences with others. When we first arrived, we were greeted by a big, brown, sweet dog followed by several kittens. (At... more

This was our third visit to Hull-O Farms, 3 summers in a row. We plan to go back every summer. We love staying on the farm, being close to the animals, at the Rose Cottage. I have a son who is almost 7, he loves feeding the animals, collecting chicken eggs, playing with the kittens and dogs, and being outside.... more

If you are looking for an experience for your children to see what life is really like on a farm, this is the place. The owners were kind and hospitable making our stay really wonderful. They go about their business on this working farm, and you are there to jump in and help if you want to. Traveled with 2... more
