My 11 year old granddaughter and I spent 3 amazing days at Hull-O Farms! Everything exceeded our expectations. We learned so much about farm life; we learned how to milk a cow and how to bottle feed a calf; we loved collecting eggs and feeding all the other animals; we enjoyed cuddling with the chicks and the kittens. The evening... More

First I want to say that I read a few of the not so great reviews and I believe that some people may have unrealistic expectations. This is a working farm. Frank is out in the fields all day, as his his son. Sherry is in the farm house preparing meals and working hard for the guests. She is extremely... More

Well I hate to admit it but Hull-o Farm has a lot to be desired. Right on the mark Frank started complaining about way the US has messed up his life. Now, for $600 for a weekend I expected a more hands on feeling. It is really for kids. I asked George , the hired hand, if he needed a... More

The farm is a great place that have been home to the Hull family for 7 generations. The farm is very big, 300 acres of land owned. It is not clean but not filthy either. The animals there are super cute and friendly to people. We were living in the Rose one of the 3 houses the farm own. I... More

Expectations are a funny thing :) This wasn't a bad experience, just not what I expected. Is this my fault for even having expectations in the first place? Or, is it the error of the owner's attempt to sell an "experience", thus creating a "vision" for possible guests?? All in all, it was a good experience. Had I taken the... More

We just returned home from a two-night trip to Hull-O Farm with my daughter who is 4 years old and her cousin who is 3. They had the time of their lives! We are already planning our next trip there for October! The children were able to participate in all chores on the farm. They loved giving milk to the... More

This was a really great, fun, educational experience that my daughter and I will never forget. The cottage we stayed in was cozy, clean and had a full kitchen. The homemade breakfast and dinner (included in the price) used fresh farm-raised meat and vegetables that were perfectly prepared - they were truly delicious meals that even my picky kid liked!... We spent a weekend here with our young son and fell in love with everything about this place: the scenic location, the lovely family who own and operate the working farm, the friendly and helpful support staff. The little house we stayed in is a former one-room school room (now with 3 bedrooms/1 bath) and was beyond charming. This was... More

My family and I have done farm-stay vacations once a month for the past 4 months, and the Hull-O Farms experience was by far the best. The house is immaculate and easy for little kids to play in. The meals are delicious and Sherri even accommodated my wife's need to be soy-allergy-and-dairy free. Best of all, the experience of working... More

My three year old and I had a fabulous time visiting Hull-o farms. Everyone was so warm and welcoming. There is plenty to do and see on the farm. Sherry is a wonderful cook, serving up the most delicious breakfasts and dinners. Highly recommend this farm-cation.
