Truly a miserable experience! The first room we were assigned was next to a barking dog. That usually wouldn't be a problem for us except that our dog died that morning. Of course they didn't know that so we requested another room. The second room was almost 90 degrees when we checked in- we were told that we were not... More

Hello Carol R, I would like to start out by thanking you for taking the time to share your hotel experience with us. I would also like to apologize for the loss of your pet. We were not aware of this when you checked-in. Had we known, we would have never placed you around any pet rooms. I'm sorry you... More

Since our children go to the local college, we visit this area quite a bit. The disappointing thing about the Fredonia/Dunkirk area is that there are no 3,4, or 5 star hotels or higher end restaurants. That being said, we stayed at just about all the hotels in town. While I still prefer the White Inn, the Best Western offeres... More

Thank goodness our son has graduated from the SUNY college in this town. Therefore I don't have to come back and stay here. Room rates were twice the price this go around for graduation weekend so I can't rate the value too high. This hotel is very clean and the staff are great. However the beds are uncomfortable and if... More

You are welcomed the minute you step through the doors. This hotel is clean and nicely appointed. My husband and I stay here when we visit our daughter. SUNY Fredonia is a 1 minute car ride to the campus and also a 30 second ride to RT 90. Enjoy the free breakfast each morning which is self serve and includes... More

The rooms were clean which was important for me and my 10 month old son who just started crawling. The front desk staff was also friendly and inviting. They had a great continental breakfast including strawberry flavored waffles. What a treat!

We stayed here to attend a funeral in the area. The staff gave us a bereavement rate which was very helpful though their prices were competetive for the area. The check-in was fast, the staff were very friendly. The rooms were clean and adequate. We didn't use the pool/hot tub, small but looked nice. The breakfast was fine including the... More

I stopped here on my way from Chicago to Buffalo one evening. It was snowing hard and the lane markings disappeared. They front desk helped me out really quickly made sure I knew all the features and it was a great stop. Breakfast the next morning was basic but comprehensive - I would stay here again if passing by.

My college bound daughter and I recently spent the night here prior to her visiting SUNY Fredonia. Check in was fast and friendly. The room was very clean. We walked across the parking lot to Applebee's for dinner and my daughter enjoyed a dip in the pool when we returned. The breakfast was fine. The best part is that it... More

Quiet, out of the way place with clean nice, rooms. We liked the fact that there's enough around the area, but not too much. Applebee's restaurant is next store. A definitely good place to stay. Ask for Triple A rate to get 10 bucks off, too, if you have membership.

It was our first time staying. The girl at the front desk was very rude and not nice. The breakfast was terrible. The rooms smelled bad. Not much privacy. Get waken up buy trucks and cleaning ladies at late times of the night. The lady at the front desk was very rude and just not a nice lady. I personally... More
