Ward's pond is an excellent B&B. The hostess is very accomodating and an excellent cook, and the house is large and comfortable, with many family heirlooms sprinkled throughout. One of our favorite finds in the study was a four volume set of books covering the history of the Mohawk valley up to 1925. One of these included several pages of... More

Ward's Pond B+B is a beautiful house filled with fascinating antiques and beautiful books. We had the place to ourselves and were able to choose any room we liked to stay in. Each room was beautiful and comfortably furnished. We used the recommendations for dinner offered by Ward, and were not disappointed, we had the BEST crab cakes in town... More

What a lap of luxury - this home is both overwhelming and cozy, filled with hardwood oaks and maples, perennial gardens, and local ambiance. The owners are a cute youngish couple with little children whose feet pittered around in the background, and their mini-daughter - apparently the 6th generation of the family to live there - are hardly noticeable. Breakfast... More

My wedding was nearby this Inn and when considering accommodations for myself, family and bridal party, this Inn offered the entire facility to us! Two floors of gorgeous antiques and elegant furnishings! Not only was it well maintained, the rooms were spacious, the beds were exceptionally comfortable and there were multiple bathrooms which gave us alot of convenience, and one... More

I had my wedding at Ward's Pond and it was PERFECT! The owners are wonderful and make you feel at home, at their home! It was a wonderful experience. Family and friends that stayed there for our wedding were absolutly delighted!

Our whole family stayed at Ward's Pond for a weekend this May, a huge family wedding. The reception was actually on the grounds - more than 130 people, with the dinner set up on their lawn tennis court and drinks served down by the pond beforehand. What a show! We're from New Jersey and weren't used to the beauty and... More

This bed and breakfast is located in a small town in upstate NY. I don't think we would have found it, however, if we didn't have family in nearby Salisbury. Whatever the case, it was being run then by this extemely kind girl (with 3 kids upstairs who we never even saw!) who's husband was serving overseas in the War... More

My wife and I stayed at Ward's Pond B&B last September during a nearby wedding. We had heard about it both from friends nearby and on the Internet at their site found on Google. Now, I've stayed at a number of small inns and B&B's, but this place entirely stood out. It's a five-story mansion on a pond, next to... More
