Nice lady at the front desk, but the room, although not visibly DIRTY, is overall GRUBBY. Also SMELLY...can't pinpoint the smell, but I have to assume unwashed people slept in here previous to me. I couldn't open the window, and probably wouldn't have been safe to do so, anyway. Also, something small & black JUMPED out of the washcloth when... More

We just stayed at this so called hotel and it was absolutely filthy. Walls filthy, furniture filthy, dangerous threshold between bed area and bathroom, toilet was loose. The floor in bathroom was dirty around the edges, haven't been cleaned in a long time if ever. I don't think they know how to use a vacuum cleaner because it had not... More

If you are looking for a clean inexpensive place to stay, this is a good choice. The room we had was simple, clean and provided a bed to sleep in. (Microwave and refrig) They offer a simple continental breakfast, coffee, cereal and muffins, but for the price per night, I wasn't even expecting that. (About $70). Staff was very nice... More

Had to make a quick trip to Syracuse. The price seemed right so I stayed in this motel overnight. Though the room, bathroom and beds were clean, this was not the most enjoyable experience. The bed was not comfortable; the heating was not easily adjusted and vehicle headlights could be seen through the curtains as they came and went during... More

The big basketball game, that and the hotel was our Valentine's Day present from me to my boyfriend. After sleeping in the bed all night, I get up to get ready & just happened to flip my boyfriends pillow over. There on the side that was face down was a LARGE dried blood stain and on the sheets. I was... More

To start..I have traveled...I mean, LOTS of traveling and not much bugs me. BUT, the pictures online do not show what this motel is really like. I was a little creeped out but thought I would give it a shot anyway. It was on a main road and lots of places to eat so that was good. I checked in,... More

My family ended up at the Eco Lodge in July while driving over 1,000 miles to a wedding in Canada. We hadn't looked into accommodations ahead of time, just pulled into the first decent-looking motel off the highway. Big mistake. We rented two adjacent rooms. The place looked a lot rougher on the inside than it had on the outside,... More

We stopped here for an over night on the way to the 1000 Islands. The room was clean, but the bathroom was not as clean as it should have been. There were some hairs, mold and dirt in the bathroom. The sheets were clean, but had a few small stains on them. TV was old as well. Many travelers commented... More

We stayed here during a visit to Syracuse University. First appearance is that it's a very dated motel. However, the room was very clean and well appointed, if small and the new carpet rubbed against the bottom of the outer door. There was a strong odor of disinfectant in the room, but we quickly got used to it and no... More

Location, It's easy to drive to any direction from here. Price, At $65 the place is a steal you won't find a better place in the area for a $100 on less. Convienient, Drive up to your door you can't do that at a hotel. Walk to Denny's, KFC, Starbucks, Barns & Noble, Sunoco all within a few hundred feet.... More
