We had booked a campsite for 4 nights at Darien Lake, as we do every years. We enjoy the campground because it allows you to make your own meals and have a bonfire in the evenings. Midway though our trip a terrible thunderstorm blew in and our tent and campsite was soaked. We asked to upgrade to an RV, but... More

We are very pleased that our staff gave your family the extra attention and helped when it was needed. We are also happy you enjoyed your experience during the stormy weather and had the best of both worlds. We are so happy that you had a great time! Our goal is to go above and beyond the expectations of our... More

we stay just one night while there for a concert. Our room seemed clean and comfortable but looked a little worn out. The carpeting looked old same with the comforters on the bed. It was nice the room had a small refrigerator. The desk clerk told us it was a 10 minute walk to the concert was much longer. After... More

Mixed feelings about this one. Sad because I really wanted to give this 5 stars. If we would not have had rude encounters with staff this prob would have been at least 4 stars. We stayed in the hotel in a standard 2 queen room. Room was spacious and standard but overall clean. Had a small refrigerator in room. Beds... More

Over all the hotel was nice and clean. The staff were friendly and helpful when I asked them questions. The room was a great size and clean. We did not get any conditioner or body wash in the bathroom. Just 1 small bottle of shampoo and 2 bars or soap to last the 3 days that we were there. A... More

We had a standard room. Was a bit worried about after reading the reviews but we had a great time. The room was pretty clean and with a couch in every room it was perfect for our family. Most hotels don't want families of five. The pool was clean and had a very attentive life guard on duty (something you... More

Friendly staff, Timmies coffee, heated pool, 6 minute walk to park, cereal and 7-11 style breakfast items available in the hotel lobby area (this place was very convenient to get a coffee or refill your drink container or get a beer or snacks ), giant chess and checkers, clean and spacious room. No complaints whatsoever.

We wanted to stay at the Lodge on the Lake to make it easier to attend the Victoria Justice/Big Time Rush concert with our kids. Our son has a disability and has some difficulty adapting to new places/crowds so our primary goal was to avoid the parking lot mess and subsequent meltdowns. When we initially checked, the prices were high... More

We stayed in the hotel for three nights while at Darien Lake. The hotel is decorated in a lodge theme like The Great Wolf Lodge in Niagara Falls. There is an outdoor pool, a small gift shop, and a small food outlet. Stay away from the food outlet. We had breakfast there once and it was awful. Nothing but expensive... More

The Lodge on the Lake is right on the actual lake for Darien Lake theme park, so it's definitely convenient for your park adventure. It could, however use a bit more amenities. Overall, the rooms are very clean, good and functional. We had a basic room with two queen beds, but still coveted the fancy rooms with a built-in bunkbeds... More
