I travel frequently and I don't mind a budget hotel as long as its clean. When we bought our tickets for the NASCAR race this was the only hotel within 150 miles of the track with a room available. It was the most filthy hotel room I have ever seen. There were stains all over the bedsheets, I wouldn't even sleep under them. The bathtub was moldy and slimy with no hot water and the toilet was backed up when we arrived. The curtains were torn, so there was no privacy. The "non smoking" room smelled worse than some smoking rooms I've had to stay in in the past and had an ashtray sitting next to the sign that asked you not to smoke. And that's just a few of the items that come to mind. I went to the front desk in the gas station next door, and the person on duty said it wasn't his job to deal with complaints.
