This is a very large camping ground with a number of different areas. Effort is made to group friends and family together. There are a lot of activities for children. Each site has a fire pit, and outdoor table, there are a lot of trees, many sites are well grassed and the camping ground appears well maintained. There have been... More

Poor to Terrible! Very disappointing the Deerpark Koa in Cuddebackville, NY 12729 is the Worst KOA that we have visited. The Staff: half of the staff does not speak english the rest of the staff Just says things that the owner does not back up. The staff is uninformed. We experienced very bad customer service. We camped for a few... More

Our family visited this park last July. It was a good time but very very busy! This year we came back with some friends but this time mid week and late July, We stayed in one of their Yurts. They are new and have bathrooms and small kitchenette. Very nice, especially the one we had on the river. Got to... More

Large, beautifully maintained property, many shady camp sites. Friendly employees. Yes, they charge your for the extras. Which can quickly add up. And can feel annoying if you've been to other KOAs that don't charge for activities. We arrived early and was told we couldn't stay on the campgrounds unless we pay $15 for early registration. I understand the security... More

Very beautiful park, friendly staff, and great location. I stayed a 5 nights and wonted to stay longer. I visited the city and kayaked the river but that is only what I did off the campground. On the campground I enjoyed the watersides, pool, and endless activities. I will be back soon.

I came in on July 8th and was greeted by a very friendly staff. They showed me to my cabin which I shared with two of my close friends. It was a very nice cozy cabin plenty of room for the 3 of us. The next day I started with the activities. They had inflatable water slides and a bouncy... More

We had been there for Labor Day last year and thought it could be a great campground with some improvements. The campground itself is very nice. Most sites are spacious and wooded, they do have field sites as well. Some infrastructure improvements since Labor Day including inflatable water slides, slight upgrade to mini-golf, and landscaping. Bring your wallet because they... More

Pros: we had a nice clean cabin. Bathrooms were clean, particularly over the weekend. Ok pool. 2 giant inflatable water slides. Kids absolutely loved the jump pad. The staff was very friendly. Cons: Our cabin had exposed nails throughout from "a new roof". Including in the loft sleep space. We reported it to 3 different people and everyone was very indifferent,... More

My family and I were just there for Father's Day weekend. We all decided that we were going to find a new campground next year. Pros... The sites and bathrooms are clean. Loved these bathrooms! Toilet, sink, mirror and shower all in one. The giant bouncing pillow was great. Campsites are spacious. The river is really pretty. The staff is... More

The advertising states you can get actual into NYC but fails to mention that the average cost is $20 per person each way! A shuttle if you are in the peak season runs you to a train station and then it is a 2 hr ride into the city. The wifi connection is very slow at best. Staff member was... More
