My boyfriend and I stayed in the Alexander Hamilton house in October of 2013. I didn't feel compelled to write a review until staying at another B&B recently, and realizing that I was holding everyone to Tom's standard. Tom runs a very warm, charming, welcoming, and peaceful establishment. There were snacks and drinks around to purchase, logs for the fireplaces... More

Every second we spent there made memories to last a lifetime. From our early morning visit to the Croton Dam to our afternoon strolls down to the village, our time there was priceless. Our room was beautiful and so comfortable. We opened the windows and enjoyed the evening breeze while we read our books. Tom was such a great host... More

We recently stayed for three nights in the Roe Room which had all of the charm of Gram's house complete with creaky floors and the dedicated bath across the hall worked out pretty well for us. I did tour the other rooms and of the ones that were available to look at I would recommend the Yellow room at that... More

A wonderful 2 night stay! A very relaxing atmosphere and great breakfast! Tom was, as always the perfect host. It's an easy train ride into New York City. We caught R. Center, saw Matilda, then escaped the crowds back to Croton in time for a great Italian dinner in Croton.

We had to find a place to stay to attend a funeral in Upper Westchester. It was an unfortunate circumstance, but we were sooo happy with our stay at the charming and very comfortable Alexander Hamilton House. We stayed in The Turret Room, and it was large and comfortable. We peeked at the other rooms, and each had its own... More

We visited the Alexander Hamilton House for our first anniversary and were extremely pleased with the experience. Everyone in the small but charming town of Croton knows the inn and Tom, who runs the place. Tom was very welcoming and incredibly responsive to all of our requests. The place has an antique-y feel, both quirky and historic. The wood-burning fireplace... More

It can be tough to find a place to stay around Halloween in Sleepy Hollow, so I was really happy to find this place. It's just outside of the Sleepy Hollow area, but was still close and convenient enough. It was perhaps a 15 minute drive into town to do all of the activities we had planned in Sleepy Hollow.... My wife and I stayed here for 5 nights and used Alexander Hamilton House as our base for day trips further up into NY state and Rhode Island. The house is a very large 2 story wooden mansion built in the late 1800's and maintained to a high standard. We stayed in two separate rooms and had a chance to... More

My wife and I stayed one week-end night in late September. I had originally arranged to stay two nights, but later cancelled one night by phone to Tom. Just before we arrived I called Tom and told his answering machine that we were on our way. When we arrived no one answered the back door (main entrance) or the front... More

This was my first visit to a B & B and, based on my wonderful experience with AH House and Tom the Host, I will definitely pick a B & B over a hotel/motel in the future. The house is gorgeous, the rooms beautiful, and the breakfasts were fabulous! Tom is so friendly and welcoming. I stayed in the Victorian... More
