This used to be a great place to have a few drinks and dinner (not too fancy) after a day of being outdoors. Now only the hotel is open. Its fairly basic, but with only the hotel being available, there is one place to eat. Stone Manor is a great little diner across the street. I hope someday the Cranberry... More

This is a edit: I had posted this originally for the Cranberry Lake Campgrounds but I meant it for the Cranberry Lake Lodge. We stayed at the lodge the first night. The lodge's rooms are very comfortable. They have a boat rental area, a restaurant, and a general store. Then next 2 nights we camped at Joe Indian island, camp... More

My husband and I left the end of may to the adirondacks not knowing where we were going to stay. We ended up at Cranberry Lake Lodge on friday night. The only room left was a front room which was very nice. They are all redone in the log type furnishings. We had dinner in the restaurant and the service... More

enjoyed our one nite stay but if staying longer get the lake view and balcony rooms. We enjoyed the bar and the staff was friendly. I would stay again and rent a boat. Our stay was very short on our way to Montreal Jazz Fest. Bring bug repellent for evening and sunset.

There are several room options here. It is worth calling ahead to book a balcony room with the lake view. The balcony is narrow and the other two or three rooms on the lake side open out on the same open balcony, but that adds to the old neighborhood yard feeling. The lodge is mere yards from the lake, the... More

Had a nice meal at the Lodge. Had a hard time deciding what to have. Foof was good and service was friendly. Nice view of the lake and boats. Sat by the windows and got a beautiful breeze on a warm , muggy evening.

We needed a central location in the Adirondacks to meet with about 30 staff people. Travis worked closely with us to set up a room with a great and reasonably priced buffet lunch that was plentiful and fresh. We of course also got to enjoy the great location on Cranberry Lake. From those who stayed in rooms, they too were... More

The bed was rock hard. Cleanliness was average. Service was good. The room was decorated a pine lodge look, it was nice. The view of the lake was beautiful, although the leaves were off the tree right in front of our room. Might not be so nice in the summer. Overall, I think for being an older establishment it was... great meals at the restaurant, supurb chef and waitstaff (David). hotel staff friendly and accomodating; room was clean, comfortable and everything we needed with an outstanding view of the lake. Lodge is located close to excellent kayaking and canoeing. Suggest day trips to outdoor activities between cranberry lake and saranac.

We went to lodge and stayed in the 2 story lakeside room #10 and were very pleased with our accomadations. The only downfall about the room that I can find is the blinds were broken and missing slats so privacy was a little breached. We took care of the situation by going to the dollar store in Tupper lake and purchasing a...
